In the last year or so, I have had an increase in groin sweating. This is more prevalent when working, exercising and walking. Lately I have been using large womens ( Tena xtra )incontinence pads to combat this although they are not best suited to men. Does anyone have any better suggestions? Possibly something fragranced as well. I am... by JustG

Hi! I was just wondering if there is a dating website that allows you to meet other people with HH. I figured that it would take out a lot of the anxiety associated with meeting someone new :) by Cloud_Gazer

Hey Guys, Ive been following this forum for 8 years now but I have never made a post. Like many of you I have been waiting a lifetime for a cure. I am now 25 years old and my main choice of relief has been glyco. I have pretty bad sweating on hands, feet, and underarms. We all know that the MiraDry system works very well for underarms. i had ETS on Weds. Insurance covered most of the cost. Out of pocket to me was a little more than $2,000. First two days were painful. Difficulty breathing, etc but pain meds helped cope. Just this evening, noticed both hands getting sweaty again, albeit slightly.. I have read that this happens in some cases and is temporary. I will post... by TxGuy

Brenda posted about this product and I figured it should have its own topic: Here's an interesting product that I had no idea existed. It seems to be available in the United States as an "Oxybutynin topical" Gelnique. Sounds like this can be a good alternative to "secure wipes" from pharmacy.ca in Canada. I don't think it's over the... by Sprawling

I assume most people here have had issues with shaking peoples hands with our gross, sweaty and clammy palms. I'm graduating this year and as of late I've been going and scheduling a bunch of interviews and at this point I don't even know if I get sweaty palms because I'm anxious or I'm anxious because of my sweaty palms. Any of you, have... by rmos

So I underwent ETS surgery for excessive hand sweating in January of 2017. Let me first say, so far, it has been the best decision of my life! Brief history: I have dealt with excessive hand, feet, and armpit sweat since about the 7th grade. I am currently 27 years old now. To be honest, I was ok with hiding my hand sweat and avoided... by JoeSmith

Hello guys, My first post here :) I'll try to tell my story very shorty. I suffer from underarm HH since high school. Nothing worked until I tried Botox. After a few years (4-5 years ago) all of a sudden Botox stopped to work. I tried one more time but it didnt work again. Several doctors told me different reasons why Botox doesnt work anymore... by Anon7

Hey everyone, was just wondering if anyone had any experience or insight into using pilocarpine to help mediate some of the dry mouth/dry eyes caused by oxybuytnin. I've tried oxybutynin before and went up to 10mg and noticed a moderate reduction in my palmar plantar hyperhidrosis but the dry mouth and brain fog was just too much. I've... by jamessmith112

Excessive sweat is something that has been plaguing my high school social life. I was teased and made fun of because I was always sweating though my pores under my arms. Girls wouldn't ever give me chance because I was branded as the sweaty gross guy. It really made it difficult to be myself and get them to know that I actually was a pretty cool... by JessieJackson

Already posted about this and didn't get any help but I need some advice on what to do. Iontophoresis works and my hands do get dry, but every Maitinence treatment I do, it seems to restart the 14 day cycle of getting dry again. by Matdood56

I've used my ionto machine and every time I get my hands completely dry, I wait until my hands get a little moist and do a maitinence treatment. Problem is, after the maitinence treatment my hands come back sweating full force the next day and doesn't go away no matter what I do. I've tried doing multiple treatments in a row for maitinence and... by Matdood56

So I'm ready to purchase a new iontophoresis machine to replace my Drionic unit that I've used the past 5 years. I've been looking at the Hidrex PSP 1000 and the Idromed 5PC. Both are pulsed current. I'd like to hear peoples recommendations and experiences with their own iontophoresis units, regardless of manufacturer. Pros/cons of specific... by Soy Sauce

Are there any more updates for Miradry for the hands? I had emailed them about a month ago and never got a response. Is anyone currently involved in the clinical trials? Also, does anyone know if it will be covered under insurance? I don't understand why botox is covered, but not Miradry. by jay77

I was reading an article about the Sympathetic Nervous System Sympathetic Nervous System - My Excessive Sweating This was a positive response to excessive sweating problem. It's something I advocate. I find that telling or warning others about our hand sweat can actually reduce our anxiety about it. Here's what this person wrote: "First... by Sprawling
