I had been suffering with hyperhidrosis all my life. I had ETS surgery on one hand, but the sweating came back after a few months. So i started experimenting at home for a cure/treatment. I inadvertently discovered that two chemicals react to permanently stop sweating and dry the skin. I performed the treatment on myself, just once, on both of... by ophanim

Hi all, My name is 'damsco'. I'm 31 years old from Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Since my early twenties I have been suffering from HH in mostly the facial area. I won't go into details as to what kind of awkward situations this causes. We all know that by now. As some of you might recognize, suffering from HH has caused me to become isolated... by damsco

Hi, I have been using glyco for several years now, and would be interested to know how other people use it. So far, I have taken 1 to 2mg first thing in the morning, skipped breakfast and only had food from lunch time, to maximise the drug effect. As many have reported, drug takes 1.5 to 2 hours to be active, and no food/drinks should be... by SamOlive

Hello, I'm new and have been lurking these forums in search of others that had the surgery. I stumbled on this forum during my search for experiences. Wish I knew sooner as its full of great info. Despite some of the members here not recommending it, I went through with it. I had already made up my mind. I've actually been wanting the... by DazedAndConfusd

Hey Guys, Ive been following this forum for 8 years now but I have never made a post. Like many of you I have been waiting a lifetime for a cure. I am now 25 years old and my main choice of relief has been glyco. I have pretty bad sweating on hands, feet, and underarms. We all know that the MiraDry system works very well for underarms. Miramar... by TravisHD90

I've just had ETS last week to treat my palmar HH. The surgery was a T3 bilateral cauterization - it was on Thursday night and since then my hands have been bone dry to the point that I had to put some moisturizer on them last night to lessen the dryness a bit. However I was very shocked today to see that the sweating has returned on my palms.... by tiago1995

I have generalized mild hyperhidrosis on my body and severe plantar hyperhidrosis. It has caused a lot of misery for me. The huge amount of stress and anxiety was debilitating. I would guess that everyone reading this can relate to the emotions that go along with not only dealing with everything that happens with excess sweat, but the sheer lack... by 86theHH

Hey everyone! I posted here a few years back, but thought I would post again and see what feedback I can get. I just started iontophoresis treatments again on my hands two days ago with my Fischer unit. I have what I would consider severe hyperhidrosis of the hands, feet, and underarms. Itís extremely debilitating and a source of great... by chaselindley

After putting off the surgery for over 4 years from being too scared of its side effects, I finally decided I'm going through with ETS because I can't cope with having sweaty hands 24/7 anymore. It makes day-to-day life so much more difficult, in everything I do from using a simple smartphone, to writing in my textbooks to playing videogames. I... by tiago1995

Hi Guys, I purchased an iontophoresis-device a few years back, unfortunately it wasn't very effective for my palmar hyperhidrosis (which is pretty severe). I've started botox treatments now, but I was wondering how I would dispose of the device? What have you all done with your devices that you no longer use? I'm located in Vancouver, BC and... by puddles

Every now and then I'll do maintenance treatments every other day for about 3-4 times instead of my normal once every 4-5 days. I did this extra treatment cycle because my hands were getting clammy. What resulted a week to 2 weeks later was extremely dry hands and what appears to be small paper cuts throughout different parts of my fingers on... by Sprawling

Hello, I was thinking of a way to improve iontophoresis treatment to be easier to use and allow targeting more areas. I got the idea to make iontophoresis garments that allow targeting any area of the body and at the same time stay mobile, instead of sitting for the whole treatment. For example, to treat the palms of your hands, you would use... by marcoter

Sonia e-mailed me a while back about Tranxene curing her hyperhidrosis: Hyperhidrosis potentially cured by Clorazepate (Tranxene)? Recently, someone else e-mailed me about this. I wanted to see if any others are trying this out? I have not, because my hand sweating was cured... and my feet sweating is not bad enough on most days for me... by etsveteran

I have been suffering from excessive sweating of my hands and feet for most of my life. As a student I don't have enough money for expensive procedures and equipment . I also don't like taking medicines for a long period of time. My dad just bought me special soap called hyperhidro-Rx. ( It has made my condition manageable.... by AKAKU

My ob said it was fine to continue taking. Then I switched obís and the new one said to stop taking it - this was just on the phone so I figured that was just his response until my first appointment in the office. Has anyone else taken it during their pregnancy? by Stephanielee91

I have palmar and plantar HH. I've been using a homemade iontaphoresis solution for awhile now and it seems to work for the most part in controlling the sweating in normal situations, although I would love it to stop when I exercise, but that might be wishing for too much. In any case, have others out there experimented with the duration and... by lemingra
