Every now and then I'll do maintenance treatments every other day for about 3-4 times instead of my normal once every 4-5 days. I did this extra treatment cycle because my hands were getting clammy. What resulted a week to 2 weeks later was extremely dry hands and what appears to be small paper cuts throughout different parts of my fingers on... by Sprawling

I have been suffering from excessive sweating of my hands and feet for most of my life. As a student I don't have enough money for expensive procedures and equipment . I also don't like taking medicines for a long period of time. My dad just bought me special soap called hyperhidro-Rx. ( It has made my condition manageable.... by AKAKU

My ob said it was fine to continue taking. Then I switched obís and the new one said to stop taking it - this was just on the phone so I figured that was just his response until my first appointment in the office. Has anyone else taken it during their pregnancy? by Stephanielee91

Hello, I'm new and have been lurking these forums in search of others that had the surgery. I stumbled on this forum during my search for experiences. Wish I knew sooner as its full of great info. Despite some of the members here not recommending it, I went through with it. I had already made up my mind. I've actually been wanting the... by DazedAndConfusd

I have palmar and plantar HH. I've been using a homemade iontaphoresis solution for awhile now and it seems to work for the most part in controlling the sweating in normal situations, although I would love it to stop when I exercise, but that might be wishing for too much. In any case, have others out there experimented with the duration and... by lemingra

Hey Guys, Ive been following this forum for 8 years now but I have never made a post. Like many of you I have been waiting a lifetime for a cure. I am now 25 years old and my main choice of relief has been glyco. I have pretty bad sweating on hands, feet, and underarms. We all know that the MiraDry system works very well for underarms. Miramar... by TravisHD90

I have generalized mild hyperhidrosis on my body and severe plantar hyperhidrosis. It has caused a lot of misery for me. The huge amount of stress and anxiety was debilitating. I would guess that everyone reading this can relate to the emotions that go along with not only dealing with everything that happens with excess sweat, but the sheer lack... by 86theHH

Anyone out there get some perspiration near the "natal cleft" (butt crack) before they have to do number 2? This started about 12 months ago and I'm trying to figure out why this is going on and what to do for it. by Rcece

I've just had ETS last week to treat my palmar HH. The surgery was a T3 bilateral cauterization - it was on Thursday night and since then my hands have been bone dry to the point that I had to put some moisturizer on them last night to lessen the dryness a bit. However I was very shocked today to see that the sweating has returned on my palms.... by tiago1995

Hi all, My name is 'damsco'. I'm 31 years old from Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Since my early twenties I have been suffering from HH in mostly the facial area. I won't go into details as to what kind of awkward situations this causes. We all know that by now. As some of you might recognize, suffering from HH has caused me to become isolated... by damsco

After putting off the surgery for over 4 years from being too scared of its side effects, I finally decided I'm going through with ETS because I can't cope with having sweaty hands 24/7 anymore. It makes day-to-day life so much more difficult, in everything I do from using a simple smartphone, to writing in my textbooks to playing videogames. I... by tiago1995

I recently emailed the International Hyperhidrosis Society and they told me about a big event coming up on November 13th, a month from today. Leading dermatologists and other members of the IHHS are hosting an event in Washington D.C. to educate the FDA on the severity and life impact of hyperhidrosis. They hope that if they can inform the FDA... by juanes_piscina

Hi Guys, I purchased an iontophoresis-device a few years back, unfortunately it wasn't very effective for my palmar hyperhidrosis (which is pretty severe). I've started botox treatments now, but I was wondering how I would dispose of the device? What have you all done with your devices that you no longer use? I'm located in Vancouver, BC and... by puddles

i had ETS on Weds. Insurance covered most of the cost. Out of pocket to me was a little more than $2,000. First two days were painful. Difficulty breathing, etc but pain meds helped cope. Just this evening, noticed both hands getting sweaty again, albeit slightly.. I have read that this happens in some cases and is temporary. I will post... by TxGuy

Hi, This is a bit of a long shot but does anyone in the UK have a weeks worth of avert/robinul I could buy off them? I suffer badly from HH and due to go to on holiday this Sunday. Ive placed an order but it hasn't arrived yet and I've ran out of it. As you can imagine, I'm in a bit of a desperate situation right now so any help would be... by harry374

I have generalized hyperhydrosis. Are there any treatments which can treat the full body? I am on oxybutin which works somewhat but is not consistent and the side effects can be horrible. I live in the tropics and so in the summer 10-20mg of oxybutin, I can still sweat bullets all over. Subcut glycopylorate works great but my GP doesn't want me... by GM79

Hey everyone, was just wondering if anyone had any experience or insight into using pilocarpine to help mediate some of the dry mouth/dry eyes caused by oxybuytnin. I've tried oxybutynin before and went up to 10mg and noticed a moderate reduction in my palmar plantar hyperhidrosis but the dry mouth and brain fog was just too much. I've... by jamessmith112
