Okay, as we all know, exercising is a wonderful way to let our fears and anxieties go away for a few minutes and a wonderful way to feel good/better about ourselves. This thread is supposed to serve, much like the title says, as an exercise log. Everytime you exercise, you come here and you make a note of your progress or simply of what sort of... by Sacrament

Hi, I've heard some mention positive experiences when taking B complex vitamins as a way to lesson anxiety and depression especially when it is linked to deficiency issues. However, I am bewildered by all the different ingredients and supposed quantities that make up the b complex. This is making it hard for me to choose a product to buy. ... by mwake

Do you guys think that you can be cured by this kind of whatever you exactly call it treatment for social anxiety/phobia? i know for those of us who didn't express ourselves when we weren't treated well like i was at a snobby school before and it's just stuck in there (delayed expression) when it could've been got out there in a healthy and also... by lily1

Well I use to think that my fear of blushing was just self caused. My first problem ever with facial blushing was self caused. But I believe the problem quickly evolved into social anxiety as well. I know what to do, I need to retrain my brain to think differently and positively when I either speak in a group or to a single person but I need help... by Shotinthedark1

Dear all, Lately I've seen YouTube videos about eating in front of the camera. It's called 'Mukbang', 먹방, an online audiovisual broadcast in which a host eats large quantities of food while interacting with their audience. These YouTubers talk about food or about something that is totally not related to the food. So they talk about what... by Sinopia

Has anyone felt like they're just "bad" at therapy? I've tried going to therapists many times in my life and it just never works out. I either end up not liking the therapist, not feeling comfortable around him/her or just straight up lying about things because I'm embarrassed. I just feel like I can't open up to therapists at all and it ends up... by chelseetee

Hello, I was wondering, is it common, or possible to develop social anxiety? I never used to have it, ..during high school, or as a child. Recently I've isolated myself due to bipolar symptoms, and agoraphobia. Now being on the bus, ordering food at a restaurant, saying anything, to anyone in class feels very....unpleasant. I feel that I simply... by mca88

This morning, I was washing the dishes—because I like to see my kitchen counters once in a while to make sure they're still there—and as I was soaking and scrubbing and rinsing and racking—drying is for suckers—I got to thinking about a girl I knew back in high school. She was a real standout: sweet, blonde, a little ditzy (though actually quite... by GraybeardGhost

Hello, I used to really suffer from social anxiety but I learned how to manage it. I really enjoy helping others now so message me if you'd like to speak with me about it. I'll give you my number so we can talk (I just don't want to post my number publicly). Thanks and good luck! Amanda by TrueFreedom

Hi everyone, Along with medication, I have been attacking my social anxiety disorder with mental imagery. What I do is gain as much knowledge in military psychology as I can. There's a video on youtube that shows what navy seals do to their recruits at boot camp. They basically stress them out and see who drops out. The video also shows... by skas99

So after one too many panic attacks and being scared of doing something normal people do every single day I decided to stop trying to deal with everything on my own and get some help. I called the department of human services in my county and I'm having them mail me an application for medicaid. So this means that hopefully I'll have insurance... by LeDiskoLove99

Hey peeps, I've been away for a while but I came across an article that was too interesting to keep to myself. I've had my therapist tell me time and time again to not talk to people with my arms crossed, as it comes off as defensive and makes others uneasy. But I will still do it as I dont know what to do with my hands. Will probably try some of... by Megaten

I've tried a few and none have worked (citalopram, seroquel xr, prozac, buspar, viibryd, and venlafaxine). At this point I am desperate. I'll be 25 this month and it would be nice to actually start living life: make friends, have a relationship, and just not being scared/anxious all the time. I've thought of things like Xanax and Valium but... by BeFree
