Never really had a serious gf or anyone that i dated, just talk to a girl while in high school on the phone for a year or two, but never had the courage to ask her out. So im 23 and maybe had a girlfriend for a few weeks. Still have all the hope and desire to meet someone in the future.

I will be 24 tomorrow!!! :D And will have been single for 24yrs tomorrow :( I've never been kissed before either unless on the cheek counts.

I have had family members joke around and say that I'm gay. It really hurts my feelings.

Three years, but before that, eight, and before that seven. So three relationships over the course of 18 years. I’m 34.

one year to this day. I'm 26 and have had 4 girlfriends, all lasting under a year. First one I was 18.

Three years and counting. Only had one boyfriend. Not even a single date otherwise.

What does this has to do with SA?
A. People with SA are likely to have difficulty finding dates/partners and will often go for long periods and sometimes their whole lives without dating.
B. It's in the Friendship & Love forum anyway.

I have been single for about 6 months now. I used to really abhor the thought of being single but once I actually experienced the world of dating and had a tragic ending on all three occurrences, I think it'd be best for me to remain single for a while...

Call me crazy but I think those of you who haven't dated anyone yet are very fortunate. You're saving yourself from years of inner torment from any troubling memories of bad dating experiences, unless you've had good experiences. If so, I salute you because I honestly don't know how people manage to last months, let alone years in a relationship.

^ because they're insane. I don't think it's possible to be with someone for more than a year and keep things interesting. Eventually it's just like being roommates and you just put up with it.
