People sure do seem to love mediocre TV shows/movies. The Walking Dead is not a well-written show, for all of the reasons written here: Why 'The Walking Dead' is a bad series • Hypable

It's boring and often corny. Stupid. I don't see why it's so hugely popular - there are much better zombie stories out there. And it's understandable there would be some moral discussions and debates amongst the members of a group in a post-apocalyptic setting, but every other bit of dialogue is a moral speech. YAWN. I really wanted it to be better than this. So disappointed.

That's disgusting. Is there maybe an animal protection number you can call to tip them about these events so that you don't get in trouble yourself?

I actually did end up calling somebody about it.
The dog was finally brought in about 40 minutes later...
Not sure if my call had anything to do with it.:idontknow:

I hate to be the type of person to tell on somebody..but nothing kills me more than animal neglect/abuse.

I don't care for it either.
Everybody I know loves it but I just can't seem to get into it.

I'm really just pretty tired of everything being zombies zombies zombies.
Even as somebody who's always had an infatuation with them...

I've never seen the Walking Dead, but one show that's hugely popular that I don't like all that much is Game of Thrones. It's just boring. Needs more action!

Nah, in this case it was more than justified.

It's not like they jump scared a cat or anything of those little things some people like to go berserk about, this was a legitimate case where the animal was in unacceptable conditions. Even his wild nature-toughened brethren would've searched for warmth in those circumstances.

It was interesting for a while. Then they just started repeating the same thing every time: find new perfect place to stay, stuff happens, fight another group, have to move out, end of season. I was hoping it would go somewhere with this whole "let's go to washington" thing where they would get a cure for the zombie stuff, but it turned out to be just one guy lying. It'll continue to be more of the same.

Re: The Walking Dead, the comics look promising and I got the first and second compendiums (1st 16 issues I think) by uh... let's just say I didn't have to pay for them ;) I have them on my phone and going to start reading. Excited!

I haven't watched walking dead since the first couple of seasons. It was sometimes great and sometimes lame--very uneven. After that I lost track and chalked it up as something else to binge watch on Netflix once it's all over.

Game of Thrones is hard for me to watch because I've read all the books and almost no one looks or sounds like they're supposed to (in my head). A lot of the main characters can't hide their native accents for poop, either, which is very distracting. Also, even the writing in the books went downhill after the first few, which were awesome.
