nervous.
my very first cognitive behavioral therapy session is tomorrow.
i have to give it a try and i'm optimistic that it will benefit me in some way, but... ergh. NERVOUS. i should be trying to go to bed right now. my mind's racing, not up to the idea. :/
I hope it all goes well, and I can't see why it shouldn't. The worst that happens is that it doesn't work for you, gives you closure on CBT and you move on to another method. I've been to CBT loads of times and the therapists are very accommodating and understanding, you could cry your eyes, break down, and they are all used to it, there is always a tissue box in a therapy session
Just take it at your own pace and they are not there to impose, but to take your hand.
