Well recently I've been trying to be less selfish. I find I think about myself a lot but not about others. So I've been doing some stuff. For instance the most recent things I did that I'm proud of are helping my classmates who struggle in math and teaching them. I also wrote a letter to a severely bullied teenager and offered to meet up with him... by dannyboy65

I'm supposed to be reading a book and doing a review for a science class, but I got about 2 sentences in before I found it to be incredibly dull and closed the application (using a Kindle for PC to read it). So does anybody else get bored of reading as fast as I do? I'm actually thinking about dropping out of college after this semester and one... by Metal_isthe_Answer

I admit, I think I'm pretty bad at it. I've bought cars where I find out later I could have gotten it for a lot less had I been stubborn/skilled enough as a negotiator. I just bought a car about a week ago and was determined I wasn't going to get pushed around. I went in with an ideal price and the salesman refused to go down from the original... by theoutsider

Well I am currently a college student. The past 2 years I took a course to learn more about career options and it gave me many openings and helped give me some marks in areas I didn't have good marks in. This year I decided to upgrade my maths for programming. But now I'm not sure that's the right idea, I've literally changed my mind 30 times. I... by dannyboy65

With Thanksgiving coming up soon I'm wondering what the day's menu is looking like for those of you here who celebrate it. Is there a dish in particular that you always look forward to? by PerseverareJasmine

Okay, 'tis the season to be thankful. And crap. Numerous studies have shown that being grateful/thankful for what you have sets off chemical changes in your brain that improve your happiness. I was reminded of this at Walmart today by this ridiculously happy woman saying what a fantastic day it was and she was grateful to the Lord for each... by NathanielWingatePeaslee

Sometimes I like staying up late, knowing most other people are asleep. I'm not sure why, but it gives me a feeling... something like comfort? Does anyone else do and feel the same? Why do you think you enjoy it? by PugofCrydee

Personally anything I read good or bad has people who just act hateful. Like say for example something you like to do and then some people say that's great and some say they dislike it. That's good, but then there are also people that go out of their way to try and get you to try and see their view and if it isn't their view then you aren't worth... by dannyboy65

I would like to know how many of you here are loners (people who enjoy being alone and need it), what is your opinion on being a loner in such an extrovert society and how you think it is perceived by fellow human beings. Why I want to know is because, after I made some amazing progress in overcoming SA and depression about 3 years ago, I... by Pacific_Loner

Alright. So, regardless of whether you agree with me about the existence of "video game addiction," I think I suffer from it as an addiction. I'm not looking for an argument, but rather suggestions. I have found that the unreasonable amount of time I spend gaming severely impacts my quality of life. Let me perfectly clear, I do not blame video... by zharl

Well today I was working as usual and my boss randomly asked me to step inside his office and sit down and "get comfortable." He's like do you like your job? What is your favorite part of the job other than salary? I had to give an answer like learning new things, etc. Anyone else have this happen? by LazyHermitCrab

You know how easy approach to achieving 104% body fat your intimacy with pork products. You are on the World Wide Spam Web and found that the more we eat spam, the more we produce spam. There are a lot of flavors of spam, but just be careful after your napkin. The grease gets everywhere. So let's start easy and stress that you are free to weight... by Sierragrace

At this moment, I noticed that we have 10 active members on the site. It's a small number, but it's one or two more than I'm used to seeing. Nevertheless, there have been maybe two posts in the last hour, and one of them was from me. If you guys are here, you're not doing much to show it! In an effort to get some more community involvement,... by zharl

Someone I knew used to sing a song for different things I'd say. Sometimes I was surprised with some of the songs she knew for the simplest of things. So, someone post a word and someone else reply with a song about that word, and then post another word and the next poster can reply with a song for that and a new word as well. by Opaline

The other day, my classmate told me that he saw a 12-feet tall man in the dark, watching him when he was returning home from tuition at night. He said that at first he felt like he was being watched by something. When he looked at a certain area where there were a lot of palm trees, he saw a tall man wearing a black suit. He said that, then he... by Xion

one of the major goals i've had is to move out of my parent's house. they were over protective, strict, and i felt they were holding me back. because of their strict rules and being over protective, i was always afraid to go out and do things, meet people, have anyone over. so i moved out into my best friend's house, who moved to the other side... by chibiXphantom

I've been trying to go with the classic working full time at a set time but it's not "working out" too well. I was wondering what other ways there was to make $ independently minus things that could get you in trouble with the law :p I would be interested in starting a blog for an example but not sure where to start. Maybe wordpress? Also maybe... by LazyHermitCrab
