yeah they've got some really good songs...The lasting dose is good.

a lot of sludge metal bands have a certain kind of groove to their songs that i really like.

this guy's vocals sometimes make me laugh though because he sounds like such a redneck...but most of their riffs are really bad *** and have a nice groove to them.

I can KIND of play the vomit riff from Hourglass (on guitar) but its a bit sloppy.

I don't know why, but seeing the popularity of this thread always makes me chuckle. Legitimately I don't know why. I occasionally listen to metal, so I don't have anything resembling disdain for it. Maybe it's picturing an SA metal band. Would the lead singer whisper scream? 🤭

I'm into SOME 80's metal but not a whole lot of it...I like Ratt's vocalist though...he sounds somewhat like dave mustaine...or dave mustaine sounds like him.

I have an Ibanez Gio. I'm thinking of upgrading soon to a different bass just not sure what I would choose haha. I would also like to upgrade my amplifier.

Implode by slayer is a pretty sick song. The intro is tr heaviest riff I've heard by that band. I'm also a megadeth fan. I just love thrash metal

iv heard of a perfect circle. I like a few of their songs but not as much at TOOL.

This band really made an amazing comeback, considering this was there first album in a WHILE.


their vocalist isnt what he used to be but that doesnt take away from how good this album is.
