How are you feeling?

I tend not to read health articles because some will contradict others, but I do know that eating lots of fruits and vegetables is good, and lots of fats, sugars, and oils isn't. :) Yeah, you have no choice in this matter, but at least it means you've learned a lot from your experiences.

Thanks for the kind words, Phoenixx.
^ There are more reputable health articles out there, but I understand your caution because there are so many that do contradict. Remember lots of bad fats, oils, and sugars are not good. Healthy fats and oils (olive oil, coconut, fish, seafood, etc.) is great.

I was feeling good tonight until my brother called. Then he decided he wanted to talk about money and spending (very sensitive subjects for me atm) and while he was doing so my computer decided it wanted to be stupid again, and all of that combined pretty much sent me spiraling into a terrible mood. Now I'm back to worrying about money and finding a job. I'm so so so so tired of this crap!

I deleted facebook once, like a year and a half ago. Haven't looked back. Life is so much easier now.

I gradually lost interest, believe it or not... I haven't been on in quite some time now. I guess it was mostly because I didn't have any friends.:applause::perfect:

I don't mind the way my mind races with creativity when I have consumed too much caffeine. The caffeine is like a match to my thoughts, and they skyrocket into orbit. But then suddenly I can't hold a conversation with anyone my anxiety is so bad. I can sit back and observe these effects of taking a psychoactive drug, and realise it is not too good for me, but do you think I can't cut back the amount I drink? No.

Balanced. Thinking about the future, how unknown it is. Accepting it's ok to be awkward or unsure. I'm stuck with myself for life, like everyone else is themselves, so might as well learn to like the person I am. :)

I'm feeling pretty depressed today. Can I just skip everything and sleep for a while? I just want it to be August already so I can get out of here and start somewhere new.

Oh sh*t! F*ck! I forgot to submit a discussion due yesterday! I was so busy doing a paper and studying for another class that I totally forgot about this class! I mean, I know I spent about 30 minutes - 1 hour reading the case study and writing a discussion for it, but I totally forgot to submit it! D*mmmmmm!

On a related note, I am so f*ckin tired of being in school! I hate grades, homeworks, tests, papers, everything! I just want to graduate already and get the f*ck out! It's really stressing me out, I'm already growing white hairs and my eyesight is getting kinda bad.

Spent the day in Sydney. What was supposed to be a relaxing day started out as a nightmare trying to navigate through Sydney and missing at least three turns to get to my destination. I ended up on the wrong side of the city and had to come back over the Harbour Bridge (which is tolled). Got there in the end, though.

Once I got settled, I had a (very) delicious lunch, heard accents from many different countries (British, French, American), bought a CD I wanted, and helped a tourist find the Opera House. It was nice all round. Great way to spend a Saturday.

:thinking:They must have been very lost, the Opera House is hard to miss. It would be fun to visit Sydney for the day like that!
Yeah, but she didn't really know which way to walk. I happened to be going in that direction so I got her to follow me. She seemed a little standoffish and wouldn't tell me which country she was from, but I felt good helping her out. :)

It was fun, actually. Completing missing turns was not favourable, but I got there in the end. :perfect:

Last few times I drove to Sydney. long ago when there were still toll operators, I always ended up getting into the e-tag lane, and having to pay a fine for going through the Harbour tunnel. I haven't drive to Sydney for about 5 years.

I vaguely remember the days of toll operators. :) I was not old enough to drive back then. It's all cashless these days so if you have an E-tag, you'll be fine. :)

Today was the Camp Quality Convoy - an event held once a year in my location to raise money for kids with cancer. Basically all it is is big trucks and police, fire engines and so on honking their horns really loudly down the main street, and people camp on the sidewalks to wave at them.

I was out there this year. It was raining, but nothing could dampen people's spirits today - not even mine - for such a good cause. I was waving and grinning like a crazy person while standing unguarded in the rain.

Here are two videos I took of the convoy (turn down volume):

Despite the bad weather, I had an absolutely wonderful time.

I'm worried. I'm about to invest in a really expensive computer and my right arm is just becoming more painful by the week. I already use a trackball, but even resting on it hurts. By the time it gets here - I may not have the pain tolerence to anything with it.

I'm going to try a handheld trackball next, and hope it works/relieves the pain. It'll allow me to rest my hand more naturally without pressuring my wrist. Plus I can use it with either hand.

But yeah, considering fast majority of what I enjoy in life is digital and requires some mouse dexterity, this is reason for serious concern. It's not just some past time that this condition is affecting.
