I feel your pain. I'm still running Mac OS 10.4.11 (Tiger) on a 2006 iMac, which was already obsolete when I bought it. I want to get an iPad, but in order for it to play nice with my regular computer, I'd have to upgrade to at least 10.5.8, which would be a major hassle. Easier to just buy a whole new machine. ::(:

I loves me some 'shrooms!! No, not that kind. I put them in just about everything I fix (e.g., soup, chili, salads, omelets, etc.), usually canned white ones or shiitakes. Sometimes I buy fresh portobello caps if the price is right, but I can't cook them to save my life. They always end up burnt. Oyster mushrooms are one of my favorites, but unfortunately they're way outside my budget.

My ex-girlfriend just announced on Facebook that she and her wife are expecting twins in the spring. All her other friends are oohing and aahing and offering congratulations. I think this choice is horribly irresponsible in light of their apparent financial difficulties and her mental instability. I'm sorely tempted to tell her what I think, and finally demand the money she's owed me for the last twelve years. What to do?

Freaking Mibbit won't work in Firefox now. I can get on the Mibbit website, and I can choose my server, channel, and username, but when I hit "connect" nothing happens. When I go to reload the page, it tells me I am leaving, meaning I am connected. And apparently I really am connected, because other people can see me enter the room. But *I* can't see the room! WTFFFFFFFFF :mad:

Computer issues really get to me, I find them so complicated and frustrating because if you don't have the slightest clue what could be wrong, where do you even start to try and figure it out??? :confused:

I hate endings... I hate them more than I could ever say... I cry at endings to everything (as long as it's lasted more than one day and I liked it to some degree... If it was something I hated then it's more of a celebration, but still...), then I feel so empty and sad... I feel like part of me is ripped away...
