Post your random thoughts/feelings etc

A ladybug almost gave me a heart attack. It was dark in my room, and suddenly feel something crawling over my finger. Since it was dark, I could only see that it was round, so I thought it was a tic or something. Then when I knocked it of my hand, it landed next to my laptop.

It flapped its wings, making a sound, which I'm not used to with insects, but in the dark it almost seemed like it was transforming or something. Ladybugs, roll out!

That was a manly moment. Lmao.

Happened to me on the first day of college.
Cost me 45 dollars in the student store to buy a clean shirt to go to class in.
...and the shirts were half price the next day.

Well it hit them in the head/ hair.. Nasty mess that requires a shower to fully get rid of it. Yeah, things work that way.. Life is not fair and never unfair in our favour.. ::(:

Not good.
Not good at all.
Broke out all UFC today. But not with me. With other people.
And I got sent home.

There's this girl at work with no social filter it seems. Like, no filter at all. I was just sitting there, eating my grilled cheese/ham sandwich, and she decided to look whether a pony tail would look good on me by making one with her hands. >_> Not only touching me, a big no-no to begin with, she did it without prompt, while I was eating.. and she touched my hair. That's forbidden land.

She does these things all the time. Telling everyone stories about her cats, how her brother always leaves towels on the floor, sweaty armpits. Basic things you either don't care about or simply don't want to know. Hugging people randomly. It's really exhausting to have that hyperactive/unpredictable energy around.

It's not like she's a bad person, but she's just so awkward.

...And yes, I am a major misanthrope too..

1987, standing in line at the armory to turn in our weapons after the range

the guy behind me tapped me on the shoulder

he was from another unit - i'd never seen him before that i can remember

apparently, he'd pocketed a couple of live rounds at the rifle range

he was holding his M-16A2 in front of him with the barrel under his chin

he said to me, "check this out - here's something you won't see every day!"

then he pulled the trigger

he probably had no idea his head would explode the way it did

or that his actions would have a lasting effect on anyone but himself

Commas are an important part of human communication. The end.
Are, you, sure? I, mean, I, don't, want, to, overkill.

Quite a long tale. I'll keep it short. I stopped the fight. Two tools I knew. Yes, sort of ballsey in my department (this is very rare) and therefore that behaviour in accordance to the policy makes me suspicious and part of it. Mad jokes.

I understand, but you shouldn't beat yourself up about it. Of course, I wasn't there to witness such a thing so I can't put myself in your shoes.

thanks Mikey - it's not something i think about very often

i feel better having worked for many years as a 911 Dispatcher

helping suicidal callers get the assistance they need to save their lives

although there's a few of those incidents that haunt me as well
