There's this guy I have a crush on who works at the gym. He checked me in today and we made eye contact the whole time - I felt hideous. I had no makeup on and scabs under my eyebrows because the waxing lady messed up. My mom (who I work out with sometimes) said he was checking me out once, but I feel like she was just saying that/misinterpreted it. I wish I had more confidence and would stop avoiding the guys I'm interested in like the plague. I will always end up alone if I keep doing that. I hate having anxiety/a low self esteem... I feel like might like me based on the eye contact we made, but maybe it's just wishful thinking on my part.

This is totally ruining my post work out buzz. I guess all I can do is continue working out - that's all I have 🙁

While your mother really would like for you to have more confidence in yourself, I don't think she'd lie to you about someone checking you out, Sarah. If your mental situation is anything like mine, then we're most likely not going to notice people checking us out. We're too caught inside our inner turmoil to notice the outside world sometimes and also quick to dismiss any sort of positive attention on us as a "misinterpretation" or a "coincidence."

So you should have some confidence in yourself, Sarah (easier to say than do, I know):thumbup:. I'm sure you're a nice looking lady with a pretty personality. You're most likely being checked out more than you think.

Also Sarah_M, I don't think you should do plastic surgery. I didn't even notice your nose was crooked anyway and also it's not healthy.

funny how some ebooks are only on Kindle and not iBooks and vice versa. Makes it hard to view a book omg. Gotta have both apps. Wish it were all universal.

Large Pizzas have shrunk so much in my state that they are now the size of what Small Pizzas used to be, when I was a teenager.

With all packaged food now, the price is always increasing, and the actual amount of product in the packaging is always shrinking.
It hides the true level of inflation.

A Large packet of chips/crisps used to be 250g.
Then it went down to 230g, then down to 220g, then down to 200g, then down to 190g, then down to 180g, and it is now down to 175g.
But it is still called the "Large Packet" of chips/crisps.

So inflation would only be recording the price increase of a "Large packet" of chips/crisps over the years - without counting the reduced amount of product you now get for that same "Large packet".
