Bad Week.

When I expressed my concern about a subject to a new teacher, she said (in the earshot of 5 other students) "I think I need to get you a valium!"

That is the first time I have ever had a teacher ridicule me in relation to my anxiety that I try so hard to keep from anyone.

She is a really good and pleasant teacher. I can't put it down to her being a rude woman. I wonder if I am loosing my ability to mask my anxiety somewhat in public!?

I've also had another student tell me "You worry too much" with a disgusted tone of voice, just last week.

That teacher was out of line with that remark. That other one that thinks you worry too much should mind his own business. Them people should really be nice to you cause you're really nice. I hate idiots

The Heartbleed issue was and is such a colossal pain in the butt. I have like a hundred-and-fifty passwords collectively that now need changing.

I'll have to do it gradually over a period of months, no way I'm going to do that in one go.

EDIT: And of course a ton of these sites have faulty password-reset protocols. Which means I'll have to contact some of them through e-mail.

Maybe that teacher didn't realise the severity of her words, and said it in a sarcastic way. Either way, probably not a good idea for her to have done that to a student.

Hopefully next week is better.

That is a inappropriate comment from a teacher. Sorry you had to put up with that, BlueDays.

If it helps at all, I hear people telling other people to calm down about 500 times a day in college. I think its quite a normal thing to say in that context. I hear lecturers say it constantly. Everyone in my course is constantly freaking out and having meltdowns. I really don't think she'd have said it if she'd known you legitimately suffer from anxiety. IT was probably a throw away comment. She probably had no idea. Very calm people panic in courses, everybody worries. I have been told to relax about a million times in one lab, at least twice every lab the demonstrator rolls her eyes at me lol. My lab partners think its hilarious, ...Im just very cautious....:giggle: but then on the other hand, in lectures I probably exhude the most outward calmness of all my class...which is really saying something because I am in no way a relaxed kinda person. But they all worry and freak out so much that by comparison to them, Im like a Buddhist monk.

I am sorry she made you feel bad blue

Despite them being very good for your health, blackstrap molasses and brewers yeast must be some of the most horrible tasting things out there.

When I get to see the things I do, the sunsets, the flowers, I love this sweet earth, despite all the fear and complication, or perhaps even more so because of them.

Life sucks.

The one thing I fear the most, that makes me lose the contents of my stomach, is job interviews.

My evil government has just made it so I will have to endure job interviews until I am 70 years old. We now have the oldest age to qualify for the aged pension in the world.:sad:

The fact that it has been proven that businesses are reluctant to employ anyone over 55 yrs has just been ignored.

It's like they want us to be slaves to work until we drop, to pay for the shortfall, because they are to frightened to tax the big companies who can afford, and are taking their profits overseas.

They pick on the old, sick and disabled, because they are easy targets.

Ugly is a strong word. Read this somewhere. Many say, "beauty is in the eye of the beholder", etc but it does play a LOT of role in many things, like dating, friendship ..interviews too. Beauty is subjective but an attractive face will attract others.I read one thread , on some forum-How will you feel if an ugly/average( girl) stares at you?
I read the responses and felt wow this guys are not sugarcoating!!

I am terrified too. I can't work either, and none of my talents that I CAN do are appreciated. Next thing you know they will be having Dr.s put us down.
The rich own the Gov. It's really a scary time. I long for the days of my youth when I felt pride in my country.

There are a lot of people who are complete imbeciles out there, but there are nice guys too. Don't lose faith. If a guy talks like that, that is an immediate dismissal. There are men who just want to be loved and appreciated, they are the ones to look for :blushing:

Gotta write this message for a friend of mine who's graduating this year. Just need an ending sentence now, but I have no idea what to write. I think it should be about my support or something, like "Remember I'll always be there for you" but less cheesy.
