Is the upside of the downside the same as the downside of the upside?
Sometimes, yes. But not always.

^ Eating little for two days, then not getting enough sleep, all the whilst your body was coming down with something, I think it might take a little bit more than just a good single night's sleep and a regular eating day. I say be patient and give it another day with good sleep and good foods to see how you feel. Depending on your body, it might take a little more for it to get back to feeling normal again. Also, certain foods don't help colds or a run down body either (refined sugars, lots of preservatives, junk mostly -- pretty obvious).Okay. I was wondering what other people's opinions on this would be.
Two days ago I had a sore throat but it went away by the next day. I developed a mild but persistent cough that's still with me. I didn't have much of an appetite so I ate very little for two days (but I didn't forego food completely). I only had 3 hours of sleep yesterday so naturally I was exhausted. I figured the lack of food and sleep was taking a number on me, so I hoped that a full night's sleep and good breakfast the next day would pick me up.
Not so. I've eaten plenty today and I got enough sleep and yet I am still absolutely drained. I took my temperature and I don't have a fever.
Could I have a mild flu? A cold? Or might it just be the lack of food did so much damage to my blood sugar that I still haven't recovered? I've also been VERY thirsty, regardless of how much liquid I drink.
Just wondering what's up. Can't go to a doctor and probably wouldn't bother anyway for something like this. Appreciate anyone's thoughts. I know none of you are doctors but what the hell, just figured I'd ask.
That sounds like dracunculiasis, possibly complicated with trimethylaminuria. I'm sorry. :sad:Okay. I was wondering what other people's opinions on this would be.

It could be fatigue Graeme. I sleep a lot too, sometimes living with anxiety saps all the energy out of me. I can't do anything, not because I am lazy, but because I am so tired.
Okay. I was wondering what other people's opinions on this would be.

Canada and Russia are fighting over the Arctic because global warming has made it possible to get to more gas and oil, which in turn will be used to create more global warming.
What really makes me roll my eyes is that some people seriously think that they're actually going to see any part of the profits from these enterprises, just because they have the same passport.
Nationalism must be the easiest possible way to manipulate people.
Absolutely.. without it, there would be no wars, or not nearly so many (i think none is an exaggeration as Native American tribes for example still fought brutal battles amongst themselves)..I suppose the human race will always find reasons to fight and fuk up the planet, regardless. That's what makes us so great!! More people I say. ha
I've heard that some of the oldest human skeletons found had spear heads stuck in their rib cages. A point to ponder...
