Hello! Just wanted to ask some questions regarding some of the products. Do you think Drysol is effective for palmar and plantar hyperhidrosis? If I purchase Avert, I'd go to the store, located at 311 Sherbourne St. right? Do I need a prescription? Or do they require anything? As in would I just be purchasing it like any other product? What... by eAndy

I just wanted to see how you guys approach having HH because I have never met anyone else with our condition, outside of this forum existing I have always felt like I am the only one by myself having excessive sweating to the point where it has been a huge factor in my life. I am 22, in college, and consider myself very fortunate aside from my... by husky337

Just ordered Avert to try for the first time. My question is how likely am I to overheat if using this pill and then doing an intense workout at the gym? With having cranal/facial HH sweat begins to stream down my face within minutes of just the warmup of my boot camp workouts while everyone else is bone dry. Within a half hour my shirt is... by mimosa

Hello Everybody, I'm a severe palmo-plantar HH sufferer since childhood, and as I age, it tends to get worse perhaps because of anticipatory anxiety and the well known cycle of sweating - anxiety- more sweat etc. I've tried oral drugs (propantheline) and topicals (driclor) with some success. The limitations being that they do not last long... by HHH

I've had terribly sweaty hands(aka palmer hyperhidrosis) since being a young child. I knew I had the problem but just went along as nothing was wrong most of my teen and school years and did great at school and was really popular too. Than at 18 I became annoyed and went to a dermatologist who administered botox to my palms but it had no effect... by stickyfingers

Anyone recommend a decent website for buying drugs online w/o a prescription? I'm located in Canada, and unfortunately sites like inhousepharmacy won't deliver here. Thanks! by jjubbs

Hey everyone. I have had HH for probably 7 or so years and was wondering how the onset of a HH episode feels to you when it starts up. For me, I can sweat pretty much out of the blue, does not have to be hot for it to happen. Basically I get tingly all over and then some waves of hot/cold come in, then sweating happens. Feels like pins and... by Mike325

Has anyone been doing iontophoresis for many years? I am wondering if you can do some damage to your body via the introduction of aluminium, nickel and/or chromium ions into your body. by etsveteran

tl;dr Don't eat tomatoes, potatoes, peppers (not peppercorn though), and eggplant for 2 months and your condition may improve or vanish completely. I have hardly seen anything about this, so I guess it's not too well known. I'd like to thank "biodebugger" on reddit for helping me out on this. What do I do?:In short, don't eat anything from... by kryptobs2000

Hi Everyone, I have serious palmar and plantar hyperhidrosis. Been using the RA Fischer iontophoresis device MD2A since January 2011. Had wonderful results for the first 8 months. Recently though, I've started to notice the sweating returning, and lately, it has been the SAME as before I started the treatments! I am so upset by this! Everything... by olgastevens

I have used an iontophoresis device for my hands and feet for about 10 months before stopping use. I would like to continue again (after a gap of about 2 months). My question for all those who have stopped using the iontophoresis device for a few months: When starting up again, did you reverse back to a lower setting for the current? Or... by olgastevens

Hi guys, Just wanted to hear your thoughts on the difference between the two if there is one, or your experiences with Ditropan. I am currently taking 4mg of Robinul 2-3 hours before I eat breakfast and I am only getting dry under very controlled circumstances. If I still feel anxious, nervous, excited, drink caffeine, or even rub my hands... by husky337

Today I had to give a 10 minute presentation in class. Normally I would have a really sweaty face, but thanks to 4mg of Avert on an empty stomach I was mostly dry. The problem is that my mouth and throat were really dry too. I found it hard to speak because of the dry throat. I had to do a lot of coughing and throat clearing, and I had to pause 3... by Mozart22
