Hello im a 17 year old with palmer hyperhidrosis and I made an iontophoresis machine based on this video Re: Cure Sweaty Hands, Palms, Hyperhidrosis, Hyperhydrosis - YouTube But I HATE that electric jolt you get when your hands enter and leave the water! It's keeping me away from sticking to the program. It's not THAT painful but I get so... by Loligagging

Hello everyone, I was wondering if anyone who lived in the United Kingdom knew whether or not the NHS will pay for your iontophoresis machine. I know that the NHS will pay for iontophoresis treatments at a hospital but will they pay for one for you to use at home? I know that iontophoresis works for me, but recently my iontophoresis machine... by sweatervest

Hi, i have lurked this forum many times in the past, however i have never posted. i have a hidrex pc for sale and for some different reasons, i am selling it now. I bought it for around AUD$900 if i can recall, last year. It is still in perfect condition and has not been used much. Comes with underarm pads and a adapter converter thing (for... by benji

Has anyone here tried the product On My Toes? It is supposed to kill the bacteria that causes foot odor and can even be used to control odor in your shoes for up to 6 months. The caveat about it is that your hyperhidrosis needs to be under fairly good control and mine is not as far as my feet goes. I would love to find something that would kill... by ld

Hey i was wondering what brand of sweat/odor absorbing insoles you use. I've been using Dr. Scholls Odor Destroying Insoles since the homemade ionto machine hasn't completely eliminated my sweating to 100%. But my problem is the first two days of using a fresh insole keeps my feet dry, but after the initial first two days, it doesn't work as well.... by IhateHH

I just got mine in the mail today and it has a GS label on it along with a GS pamphlet, I was wondering if anyone has the Pulsed Current edition, and what does it have on the actual machine( a GS or something like PC)? I think the company sent me the wrong device, but just want to make sure. by DaaaBulls

Guys, check these articles/info out. Miradry is expected to be available for the general public sometime in the near future/now where it is a laser sweat abelation procedure for the armpits only. Seems safe, effective, and easy. Just a quick local anesthesia shot to the armpits, they wave a laser around, and boom you are done with sweating in... by husky337

I have just turned 30 and have been suffering from terrible facial hh since I was about 14. I had minimal success trying Driclor and Odaban - then stumbled across Avert. In the first week of using it, I have narrowed down that for it to work, I need up to 4 x 2mg pills in the morning. I am amazed at the results I am seeing and can overcome... by Scott81

Hi, I will be travelling to Indonesia over summer. I have recently received a package of 100 1mg Avert. Was just wondering whether this will get through customs OK without a letter from my doctor? I have heard that some countries have issues with importation of drugs without prescription. Is this going to be a problem? Thanks in advance by [email protected]

Hi, I have been thinking about this for a while now, and I'm really curious to know if I am going to pass HH to my children. Does anyone in your family has HH? How hereditary is it? Most married people I met in HH forums say their kids have it too. This is really scary to me. I mean I'm seriously over worrying for myself now, but what... by blabla

A little perspiration is one of life’s minor irritations – unless you are a celebrity in the unforgiving glare of the paparazzi camera lenses. Most people simply reach for the trusty deodorant to keep it at bay, but for the worst-affected sufferers it can be a real social nightmare. Now a British surgeon is offering a more permanent... by thijs

Today I actually agreed to collect her from school claiming she has a doctors appointment just so she can avoid another unbearable assembly. SDLA? (sub dermal laser ablation) performed on all areas of compensatory sweating ie. back chest thighs etc? too good to be true? I had ETS performed on me in 2002 for severe hyperhidrosis of the hands, feet and underarms and face. it was a success or so it seemed at first but eventually my compensatory sweating of the chest back legs and... by wannabedry

Hello! Just wanted to ask some questions regarding some of the products. Do you think Drysol is effective for palmar and plantar hyperhidrosis? If I purchase Avert, I'd go to the store, located at 311 Sherbourne St. right? Do I need a prescription? Or do they require anything? As in would I just be purchasing it like any other product? What... by eAndy

I just wanted to see how you guys approach having HH because I have never met anyone else with our condition, outside of this forum existing I have always felt like I am the only one by myself having excessive sweating to the point where it has been a huge factor in my life. I am 22, in college, and consider myself very fortunate aside from my... by husky337
