Nah Im gonna be fine lol. Unfortunately I have a long history of accidentally consuming things without first making sure they're safe or edible...it may have toughened my stomach. :blushing:

You got to take care though, not all mold are the same. Different types of food attract different types of fungi. Cereal grains and poultry with mold for example could give you a nasty infection capable of spreading around your body, the fungi can also attach themselves to your lungs and stay there, making you cough blood for some time...

Not trying to scare you though, I'm actually paranoid with the safety of my food, but why take risks right...

Hie yer hence from me heath!
Just found out the reason why one of my sister's co-workers, Orla, has been hospital. She's got cancer, currently do chemothrapy. And been asking for me, since my sister let her know I was going in for my surgery. Orla is a wee short-haired redhead with glasses from Ireland.

And only met Orla briefly during a local arts festival in my area 2 years ago, as she assisted me to my seat in this huge spiegeltent, just nugging past folk, going: "Eh, excuse me, there's a lad in wheelchair. Let 'em throw, please" in her awesome accent. :giggle:

Hope she's going to be awrite... :praying:

I'm in a panic attack, I ordered food and I'm afraid to go to the door because of the neighbors. All though it was a good day, my gf and I had an amazing time, but I felt really anxious around the people we bumped into outside, I worry all the time how stupid I came across.

I've had three estimates from potential housekeepers/cleaning services this morning—scary, scary estimates.

I know I need to do this thing, but the thought of someone bustling around my apartment while I'm there just trying to stay out of the way flips me out quite a bit. I'm still not fully recovered from the invasion of the cable guys back in January, and now I'm looking for more of the same? I gotta be nuts. :eek:h:

Also, they're wanting 60-70 bucks for the job. Does that seem high to anyone else, or am I just out of touch with these things? I've never hired anyone before for something like this, so what do I know? :idontknow:

I'm not sure I'm ready for this. I don't know if I ever will be.

In other developments, I put my homebrewed hummingbird feeder up this morning, and I've just had my first customer already. It usually takes them a couple of days at least to find it, so this is quite a pleasant surprise. :)

It really depends on what they're going to be doing. That estimate sounds pretty reasonable. I use to pay a housekeeper for my mom, when she was very Ill, and I paid 150 for the first visit... And 75 ni weekly for the upkeep.

This was to clean the floors, do the kitchen and restrooms, and laundry. Of course, I cleaned daily... But this was a more detailed cleaning since I was working a lot and didn't want my mom to worry about it.

She would spend about two hours doing all that.

Anyway, I think it was reasonable... But I live in California and everything is ridiculously expensive. So I guess it just depends on how long its going to take and what the job entails.

Also, I'd recommend that you leave while she's there. So you don't have an anxiety attack. Its never easy to see someone go through your stuff.

People are really being weird lately, more than usual. Maybe it's the whole pre-presidential election, calm before the storm? Gawd this country is going to hell in a hand-basket. I wish I could get outta here. Where to go? Somewhere with no human beings, the obvious answer.

^ Having people around is the pain you have to push through, Grey beard Ghost. Think of the relief when the work is done and the outcome. Good luck with the clean up.

Today was weird. Strangers kept giving me random comments. I mean, at least 4 different strangers, in one day. It almost felt like someone was messing with me.

I know. I was mostly joking though. Some fungi are opportunists that prey on the immunocompromised but like you said, others will wreck you regardless of how healthy you are. And you end up turning into someone from The Last of Us lmbo

and now.... time for something Totally F*ucked Up!

I guess it was a good enough excuse for the "powers-that-be" to hold a great big "symbolism orgy" - as they might not get that many opportunities to do some good-quality mass-programming of the public...

Change is good, right? Progress, improvement, making a positive difference in myself, my world, my life. Good stuff, yeah?

So why am I so afraid?
