I'm trying to sign up to eHarmony. Apparently it'll help with my loneliness, my therapist tells me. I now have to answer these questions on my physical appearance on a scale of 1-7:

- Plain/Ordinary
- Well dressed
- Physically attractive
- Athletic
- Overweight
- Sexy
- Healthy

Jesus, I don't know! :idontknow: This is harder than what I realised!

Answer 1 to all, this way you make it clear from the beginning that you're having self esteem issues :D

Been at the Amphi Festival last weekend, with a bunch of friends and my partner. Some friends even took the plane here for that festival. It was of average size, with about 17.000 people, but the weather was great, same as the music and company.

It was a dark music festival, half of it electronic, but also some medieval/folk/rock and indie bands.

but the tourists are wearing coats, and then complaining that it's too hot! arrghh!

Kinda feeling nervous, in accordance with my recent vow to try and get involved in all the social activities I can, I agreed to go on this zombie chase thing that's happening in Liverpool atm, however after viewing a couple of youtube videos of similar events, i've discovered that the evil masterminds behind this event use similar zombies to those in 28 days later, which means A LOT of running... *sigh* at least dying from being so unfit will keep my mind off my anxieties.

Oh, also i'm stupidly hot, but that goes without saying in this weather :')

The cheapest sunglasses that aren't too big for my face are 40€. Everyone can just buy sunglasses for 5~10€ but those are way too big for my face, went through all the stores in a shopping centre and 40€ was the cheapest I could find.

I knew you were a Leo! It explains why you're so flamboyant and outgoing, also getting lots of attention with your posts.

Too bad the royal baby isn't a Leo. Just 1 day short!

Yes, but he's very close to being a Leo and that counts for something! If I ever go to England they are throwing a giant *** b-day party for the Baby Bob (that's what I think they should name him... Bob), I can just pretend they are throwing a b-day party for me. :applause:

Have a water sprayer handy, and squirt in their faces when they complain. Surely they'll appreciate the extra service. If not - I'm sure you have hose around.

I do not intend to offend anyone here, so I'm sorry if I do, but I was just thinking about how ridiculous it sounds when someone says they can't cook. I met an ophthalmic surgeon the other day who jokingly said, "I can't cook but I know how to operate on an eyeball!" or something like that, haha. I honestly think it's just laziness (or an understandable lack of time in our hectic lives). Cooking is not an inborn skill, it's something that must be LEARNED by everyone, so if you take the time to learn it you WILL and you will be able to say you can cook.

You don't have to be a culinary master, but I think everyone should know how to cook. Food is of the utmost importance to us, so why wouldn't you take the time to learn how to prepare the healthiest meals you can instead of getting frozen, boxed, or canned convenience food? When someone says they can't cook to save their life... all I hear is laziness and a disregard for their own health. It's a basic skill that, in my opinion, is as necessary as learning to tie your shoes or drive - perhaps even more necessary.

I can't cook, already asked my mum to teach me many times but she's always busy. I don't want to try it by myself, I'll probably burn the kitchen or something.

Nah, you should try to experiment, it isn't as dangerous as it seems. Unless you use the furnace or a dangerous open flame, it's practically impossible to burn anything down.

If you can put water in a pot and boil it, you're 80% of the way done with most pasta and rice (and many veggies for that matter). As for the sauce, I belief you can buy those ready-made. Home made is better, but the ready-made ones will suffice for the first few times.

Cooking is one of those things that seems more daunting then it is. But once you've made two or three meals you'll notice how mind numbingly basic general cooking is.

^ I've known people who honestly, absolutely cannot, cook. I don't know if you've seen that show on the Food Network, Worst Cooks In America (I find it hilarious), but I've known people who have made similar mistakes in the kitchen. I partially agree with you though that it is mostly due to laziness and not taking the time. With stuff already made and in a package, and all you have to do is open it, maybe heat it up in a microwave or oven, but really just eat it, who wants to cook nowadays?

I also think it's lack of familiarity of resources and so some people get intimidated by it. Afraid they're going to set something on fire or burn something up. Guess what? The little burns happen to everyone. I once partially set a pot holder on fire after I accidentally touched the stove coil with it. (I use electric, not gas.) More than once I've burned food and had a stinking burnt mess to clean up. It sucks, but unless you've burned something at least once, you're never going to get better at it. Cooking really isn't that hard, as far as the basics go anyway. I totally agree, no way does anyone need to be some sort of culinary master in order to cook some pretty good food that's much better for them than boxed stuff.... Unless you're like me and you love it so much you get to studying the components of certain foods and how food chemistry works in order to understand how to make things even better. I definitely see it as a necessity though.

I agree with Opaline as well-- you either can cook or you're afraid to try. It's really not so hard to follow a set of directions, which is basically all that cooking is. Considering you can get pretty much any recipe you want free from the Internet, there's absolutely no excuse.

Hmm... today it's been 2 years I've been working at the same place. Never thought it was something possible in my case. I'm even starting to believe they might not be looking for an opportunity to kick me out anymore. *knocking on wood*
