Ah thought so. A lot uh folk on here constantly complimentin' ma Scottish accent. No' that ah'm complainin'.
Ah use tae play shoot 'em up video games. But not some much nowadays. Mainly because ah kinda got addicted to playin' them for hours on end, which isnae good long term. Even online games can become addictive efter a while.
Huv'nae heard from ye fur a while. How're ye daein'? Oops sorry, allow me tae translate - how are you doing? Ye'll huv tae forgive me - or not? - ah've gone a bit crazy writin' in the Scots dialect/accent, ma native tongue, if ye will. Och! That's whit ah git fur startin' ma own thread/journal on here.
So, anyway... Ah've not been up tae much, aside from the usually, writin', watchin' DVDs and browsin' the internet. Should really get back intae readin' - huv'nae read a book in ages. Also, ah should really buck up the confidence tae create art again.
What else? Oh, aye... I'm planning to go to the Edinburgh Festival again in August to some stand-up comedy shows - it'll be ma 2nd time attending the festival, haven't been since 2009. So hopefully this year'll be a good one. But that's enough aboot me yappin' away here. How are you?
Do I look moddish now? My own profile doesn't even look different to me. How could you tell? I have soooo much reading to do. Remus said I'd probably have to put 'supermod' in my sig since the webmaster didn't replace my user title with it.
I get in these moods where I just want to turn over a new leaf, and I was in one of those moods.
A lot of the regulars I was talking to at that time were starting to visit the forum less frequently, so I guess it seemed like a good time to take a break. I don't know, it doesn't really make sense now, but it felt right at the time.
AWOL, like when a soldier takes off and doesn't come back. It's probably an American term. I think you're from across the pond if I remember correctly, so it might not be a word over there.
I was basically asking if you ever fly the coop for long periods.
What's this I see, your hound is no longer running? Although a few months ago I did think he was looking a bit tired. So what happened exactly, did he end up collapsing from sheer exhaustion or something?
