Aliens/10

I'd like to mention the concept they gathered of alien efficient technology is quite spectacular. With the exception of some (very few) scientific errors. But, oh well, nothing is perfect but otherwise my rating of aliens is very accurate.

Brave - 10/10

Such an amazing movie! For a Pixar film this was pretty intense, I actually got chills towards the end during the fight scene (that's all I'm saying!). I'm still all giddy and excited from seeing it! :D I wanna see it again!

Pretty Woman - 10/10.

Have to stop and watch this anytime I'm flipping through channels and see that it's on. One of my all-time favorite chick flicks! :)

Howl's Moving Castle - 6/10

I gotta admit, I don't really see the hype with this movie. I was pretty disappointed. The storyline wasn't very clear and I felt it got really tacky towards the end with the love story they threw in. Don't get me wrong, it had its good parts, but overall it just wasn't that great. I enjoyed Spirited Away much better.

This doesn't turn me away from seeing other Miyazaki films though. I have a lot of catching up to do.

Jeff, who lives at home-7/10 This one was a nice change of pace, I really enjoy these types of movies that are fairly simple and don't have much going on.

Whats your number-5/10 This movie is the classic chick flick. I didn't mind the first half but after a while it dragged on and on. It did have a lovely surprise for us guys watching :D about half way through.

Brave-8/10 Pixar has a knack for making amazing movies. This one was no exception, truly a great film for people of all ages. I was also able to find the pizza truck easter egg fairly easily this time.

Ted-7/10 I didn't like this movie as much as I thought I would but it was still good overall and had alot of funny parts. I noticed quite a few nods to the family guy formula which were alright.

Going to see this when comes to my local cinema.

Anyway, I've just returned from seeing The Angels' Share (2012) - 10/10. The best Scottish film I've seen in awhile. Very, very funny.

The Hunchback Of Notre Dame - 8/10

It's been so long since I've seen this movie, I only remembered a couple parts from it. So watching this was like watching a new movie again, lol. I forgot how violent it was for a Disney film, and I also don't remember liking it that much. Can't say it's one of my all-time favorites, it never was to begin with, but I enjoy it more now than I did.

The Hunger Games, I'd probably give it a 7 at most. Good film, but disappointed this are different/changed from the book.

Hi!

I just watched Forrest Gump. I love it. I often feel a bit like Forrest except he's much more successful in life!

Moonrise Kingdom--8/10. I'm a big Wes Anderson fan, and this was pretty typical of his stuff. Very quirky, very gorgeously filmed. But not Wes Anderson's best, by far. It was kind of slow, but overall very enjoyable.

Wanderlust - 9/10

Jennifer Aniston and Paul Rudd - what's not to like?

they did push a couple of bits too far past humorous to the point of awkwardness - but overall, it kept me laughing and thinking all the way through

great character studies

War of the Worlds (2005)- 9/10. I would give it a 10 but there were a few boring parts. But still a great movie.
