I don't understand people like this man. I mean you are the one that is disabled and yet they say they know what that feels like better than you?.........I MEAN WTF MAN......REALLY!?!??!!? THE NERVE OF SOME PEOPLE. I don't understand Graeme I really don't.
Well, word to that effect, certainly.
"I know it's difficult/not easy for you" - heard that said to me a lot, particularly in adolescence. I also got told how I should feel about my disability.
"See it as a blessing", my mum would often say. :idontknow: :kickingmyself: Still, don't know how I'm exactly expect to do that? Be grateful I'm not totally immobile?
But then my mum and family, being older than me, are always telling how I shoud be, act, think, etc. Speaking for me as well, like my shyness and anxiety means I'm was utterly incapable of that.

Does wonder for one's confidence, when your own mum immediately contradicts the answer you just gave to your own occupational therapist or doctor.
