How are you feeling?

same here pretty much. I just recently beat dragon age inquisition, its DLC's AND the witcher 3, including all the DLC's

I need another gigantic game world to get lost in.

Fantasy games are some of the best to get lost in, although I honestly don't play either of those series. Maybe i'll replay one of my favorite games ever soon, Shadow of the Colossus. Or maybe Metroid Prime. Both have great atmospheric worlds.

I really enjoyed the metroid prime series on GameCube . Have you played the last guardian yet? Iv heard its similar to shadow of the colossus . I'm currently finishing up rise of the tomb raider . It's alright but doesn't really do it for me .

I've waited for TLG for 8 years, lol. I still remember the reveal back in 09. Sadly I still haven't been able to play it yet due to not having a PS4. But the up side to that is when I do finally get it it'll have dropped in price quite a bit so it's all good.

Cool if I add you? We could chat sometime about games and whatnot if you'd like.

You're the only other person I know that loves SOTC, its a fantastic open world game, I've beaten it so many times I've lost count.

there was supposedly going to be a big fight between pod B of dorm 4 and pod B of dorm 3...but someone tipped off the sergeant so me and some other officers were extra vigilant towards the 2nd half of our shift and the fight ended up not happening..

but I suppose they could have postponed it till tomorrow . they'll probably wait till we drop our guard for like 2 or 3 minutes ...cant let that happen. I can already tell tomorrow is going to be stressful

Have you tried gaming Graeme? Some of them are amazing.. worlds you can get lost in. Can really relieve boredom

Not since my teen years. Tend to try and channel my boredom into improving my guitar playing or learning a song. Plus, I haven't upgraded in terms of games consoles. Still got a Playstation 2. :eek:mg: So, despite my age, I'm not all that familiar with current games or RPGs.

Depression can be a good source for song lyrics, and angry guitar riffs and solos.

Aye, it sure can. Though, I'm not much of a poet or lyricist, if I'm honest.
Hate being kept awake by stormy weather. :kickingmyself: I don't mind the rain, it's more the wind blowing that tends to bother me.

I hate it when the few people who know of my struggles try to relate to me when they have no f**king clue as to the hell I endure daily. Just because you have experienced a little bit of pain doesn't mean you know what it's like for someone who deals with a lot of pain. It's like saying "Oh yeah we both have experienced something in the pain category so I know what you are going through.......really? The fact that these people tell me I know what you are going through when I know for a fact they don't really pisses me off. Maybe next time I should ask them "Oh you know what it's like huh? Well OK tell me then how do you fight off your daily urges to kill yourself since you are as miserable as me?....idiots man I swear. Sorry for the rant.... Just been going through such hell and these people aren't making it any better.

Same here. I can somewhat relate to how you feel. Well, my family seem to think they have better idea of how difficult my life is due to my disability, more than I do. :kickingmyself:

Well, word to that effect, certainly. "I know it's difficult/not easy for you" - heard that said to me a lot, particularly in adolescence. I also got told how I should feel about my disability. "See it as a blessing", my mum would often say. :idontknow: :kickingmyself: Still, don't know how I'm exactly expect to do that? Be grateful I'm not totally immobile?

But then my mum and family, being older than me, are always telling how I shoud be, act, think, etc. Speaking for me as well, like my shyness and anxiety means I'm was utterly incapable of that. :eek:h: Does wonder for one's confidence, when your own mum immediately contradicts the answer you just gave to your own occupational therapist or doctor.

Same here. Been meaning to set it all up again, as i also think it may be good for boredom.

I've been trying gratitude, but i tell ye its no easy. In fact i'm probably failing completely, due to all the negatives overwhelming the positives, and i just don't think like that (i'm a glass-half-empty guy)

Being mollycoddled, esp when they handled people for me, certainly didn't help me to develop my own natural way with people. I "hid" behind my family so much, that i didn't develop a proper personality (my own one); i simply didn't know "how to be" around people in most situations. And i'm still paying the price $30 odd years later.
