Yep, coyote said it well
I would be able to go without my computer if I felt comfortable in human presence...
The days I can go without my computer are the days I spend with the family
I know the reason I am on is to connect with others when I feel I can't, or when it feels too difficult. But I am on here all day, and it has become an all-day need. I am afraid to even leave technology (computer, television, Ipod(music)) because I have developed what seems like a severe attachment problem to the illusion of company.
The problem is that when one of us shuts the computer, we lose our human contact... We, or I, atleast, downward spiral, quickly. Although this might give us the motivation to one day go out and meet people, the absence of life usually sucks the life out of me before I can get there.
