Any tech people think they can help me? I'm in Google Chrome and whenever a YouTube video is posted, it just shows up as a blank rectangle. Did I push something accidentally? Is something out of date? I tried Firefox and everything is fine.

Do you have your plugins installed? Sounds like you're missing Adobe Flash Player.

^ A good portrayal of how necessity is very relative. We all live in someone's paradise, most of the time we're just so used to it that we don't recognize it until it's gone.

It's one of the reasons why my stomach turns when perfectly healthy and wealthy young adults talk about how their life is bad and want to end it all.. There's more then enough good to be recognized were people to look for it.

Of course, we can't live life comparing to each other. It's lived inside-out for a reason, but that's not to say people can't, sometimes, live momentarily from the outside-in to gain a little perspective to optimize and divide fortunes as fairly as possible.

A crude example is while it's extremely ungrateful to throw away food, eating otherwise thrown away food won't actually help people in third world countries unless you make an effort to collect the non-spoiling scraps and send it there. The mother whom tells a child ''A child in Africa would kill for this meatloaf'' isn't actually any better morally then the child that refuses to eat it. It's taking advantage of other people's suffering more so.

Core perspective and relative outlook, another thing that greatly frustrates and worries me about our species. Well, in all fairness, other species too, it's just that their general footprint isn't quite as big as ours is.

Too many times have I wanted to just end my own existence and tried a few times, but I think the reason I am still going with almost nothing is I'm just too pissed off to end it. Which is why I must thank hardcore punk for getting me through life so far. Tomorrow people in the US will kill eachother for a deal on gadgets, fine clothing or whatever crap they don't really need where I'd be happy just having a warm coat because I live in my parent's attic and the heat of their house is non-functioning. When you are so far on the outside looking in at society, I realise I'm lucky I'm not apart of those sheepish morons.

Where can I get a good winter coat with about $4 in change? I don't know if one is that cheap at a thrift store.

depends on the thrift store- some are better than others. i recently bought a like-new gap jacket at the thrift store for that price. probably cost ~$120 to someone else last year and they didn't even wear it. i get compliments on it. yeah, go check out your local thrift stores.

I have $4 to my name and being warm is my top priority right now. I have a British DPM smock from the 80's, but it only keeps me so warm.

not actually Fiona Apple
That's what I was thinking. It just started working though. Hmmm. Thanks!

Google chome on my computer hates videos, whenever I go to any site like nbc.com or abc.com to watch shows they almost never work. Strangely the most reliable browser for watching videos for me is...Internet explorer o_O
