I always feel like my family members are disappointed in me because I'm not good at anything and my sister is an executive business woman in the city.
Even my brother works and does well at his jobs because he's so outgoing and not physically and emotionally fatigued, like me.
I'm just disappointed in myself, I guess.
Honestly, I don't judge people on their career at all. I have changed careers four times and i'm still in my 20s. Now i know this isn't normal but two of those times were out of my control 100% Where as i know a few others my age who have just stayed in the one career and have the personality to become a manager, they have the ego to be in charge of a team and i believe it takes an outgoing somewhat egotistical person who isn't rebellious (at all) that does it for many years. So essentially a sheep or someone who plays the game well. A job is a job, hardly any are glamerous and even the jobs/careers in a chosen niche come down to one thing, supply and demand and assisting a company to make a profit somehow. No matter what the product or industry and alot of it is production line and repetitive even in offices.
Most of the analysing of peoples jobs are by people who get kicks from gossip and mothers who want to compare their kids and success (in their minds) because they have nothing better to occupy their time with.
So remember that the most important thing in life is your own interests, hobbies, education that you deserve, activities, it doesnt have to be some job that pays your bills that defines you.
Think about entertainers, comedians, writers, they do not have secure employmnent and rely on contracts that come and go. They have a lot of down time and really they don't know if it'll last. They don't always earn alot yet if they told people they were a professional entertainer, writer, comedian then that in itself is an interesting paradox in terms of the return from wages and contracts compared to say..steady fixed employment at a factory in an area that is considered boring as a career. Also take into account how the economy runs, how the system is set up and how unpredictable and varied products and niches have become. think of the big picture
This makes you realise that really it doesn't matter that much what industry you are in, as long as you are somewhat content and it pays bills.
Happiness can be channelled through other avenues like art, hobbies, interests, sports, education etc. because they are not tied with supply and demand or a product when you pursue it for personal.
