^ Yep. Very rarely do I even send FB requests. The only times I don't feel all sick over it is when I'm adding family members.

I just saw this phrase in an article about home improvements, and it kinda made me annoyed:
"Unless you're a hermit who never entertains..."
I just hate when people perpetuate these stereotypes, you know? Anyone who doesn't entertain guests at their house is a "hermit," and that's something to be shunned and poked fun at.

mom: "I need help with my homework... I typed this up but now there's a hyperlink. Will it screw things up when I centre my document?"
me: "Why would it screw something up? It's just words..."
mom:"...I don't know... won't it mess something up?"
me: "No. Why do you think it would mess something up? Look- your sample has a hyperlink, too. It prints out the same-- not a big deal, mom. It's just more words; it's not going to turn into a monster and eat your assignment."
mom: "Oh...oh... okay. Go away now."

...2 minutes later

mom: "Come back here! I have another question!!"
me: "Wut...?"
mom: "What is an asterisksss...z?"
me: "A star."
mom: "oh...okay, go away now."

...4 minutes later...

How I do dread sundays- mom's college prep homework days.

I guess people can not make their house look nice for themselves either?

Dumb. home improvement should be about making your home a nice to place for you to come home to, not making it nice just for when you have company.

no, i usually forgot i even sent it, then i'm pleasantly surprised when i see the friend confirmed notification

i donno just seems everyone that comes in to contact with me gets bored very quick or is not interested in the first place. i feel like i try with people but get nothing back and there comes a time you just stop believing in yourself. ::(:

Here's mine:

Me: Going out for a walk in the park
Mom: Mountain lions are there, don't walk in the park! It's late!
Me: It's 12pm...
Mom: Take this *goes for her cell*
Me: I have a cell phone, mom...
Mom: You know what to do if you see a mountain lion?
Me: Be polite? Don't stare?
Mom: Take water with you!
Me: Holy water? Don't think that works on mountain lions...
Mom: It's hot outside. I don't think you should go, or read this article what to do if confronted by a mountain lion...

My moms lines AREN'T exaggerated in the slightest, my own lines maybe, I'm not that quick or snarky in person. :)

I get that - felt this way so many times. I can't explain how I get sometimes in person, but I know it's not always what we do. We're our own harshest critics. Hard to see the truth. I'm trying to build my confidence back up but with my situation now it's hard... hardest thing is getting back up after your down on the mat and feel beaten and out of the count down there. I think we all can do it tho. :)

I hate when people try to talk to me and suddenly they say "I'm sorry do I talk too much? Am I annoying you?" I know they think I'm being stand offish or don't like them or something and I really hate when my shyness seems to hurt peoples' feelings
