I also am attracted to guys who are hugely into films, thats a big plus with me as i like to consider myself as major film geek, so someone who can lay around watching movies all day with me is huge plus.

Hmm, at least many people in this thread are honest and not sugar-coating with that whole "looks don't matter, it's all about personality" rubbish that I hear from people frequently, which I can't help but roll my eyes at now.

I'm not going to lie myself, I actually find looks are quite important to me in a guy to get me interested in him. I don't ask for Channing Tatum or David Beckham, but I ask for a guy that's at least average to look at, with good hair/teeth/eyes. My favourite hairstyle on guys is like Chester from Linkin Park's is in this:

I don't know, I just find guys more interesting if I consider them decent good-looking. However, I know I'm not a hot girl myself, so being picky isn't wise for me. However, it's not to say I wouldn't turn down a guy I initially didn't find attractive if we became really good friends and/or he was a badass.

As far as personality goes, I don't dislike guys who like sports, but I'm not into the 'lad' type of guy who would spend all his free time down the pub drinking lager and watching football with his friends and frequently gets arrested, etc. I wouldn't mind a guy that's a bit of a 'rebel' but I'm not looking for the archetypical 'bad boy' that treats girls like crap. I'd like him to share many of my interests and be willing to get in trouble with me. I don't want a 'goody two shoes' guy, either. I like 'nice guys'.. just as long as they are fun underneath. I'd also like a guy with a similar sex drive to me.. which is basically high sometimes, so that shouldn't be a problem.

Ahh. A girl can dream.

haha, i agree.. i definitely respect you for being real here! :) i always say that looks are as important as attraction.. you have to have attraction in some way or another.. of course once you get to know someone, their personality really does have an effect on your overall attraction to them, but everyone's different, we all like different sh!t.....

anyway, i'd be down for some channing tatum lovin' ;) hahaha

This is my general criteria:
-intelligent (ultimate turn on)
-confident/sure of themselves, without being loud or obnoxious. I think a calm, cool, and collected person is extremely attractive
-naturally pretty, doesn't have fake nails/tons of makeup/designer clothes
-big eyes, don't care what color, I just love big baleful eyes haha
-caring
-athletic build
-similar taste in music/movies/tv as myself

I don't think I'm asking for too much, but people tell me I'm picky lol.

Because I found a girl who's pretty much everything I want, but she's pretty damn big...which I try not to have a problem with, but sometimes I wish she were thinner lol

adorable personality, smart, and who make me feel comfortable.

Well, I would probably still go for them but to be completely honest I would try to encourage them to be healthier if they were overweight. I'm studying to be a dietician afterall lol.

at most im attracted to guys who wear shades alot (i seriously dont know why). probably well manored but with terribly hilarious habits (like falling down the stairs or something lol). sometimes silly, usually laid back, but still spontaneously sarcastic. :rolleyes:

or else if guys of that kind aren't nearby, i probably stay open minded to other guys. :)

I love cute girls. Not so much the supermodels or blond bombshells you see on tv. I just like girls who are shorter and more petite. Hair colour and makeup don't really matter, though I do particularly like the darker haired emo/goth look (minus the tatoo and piercings).

As for personality traits, I like girls who smile a lot, can laugh at almost anything, have a mild silly streak, are very honest, have an open (and kinky) mind, enjoy learning and preferably share a few of my interests, yet are shy and not looking for a really outgoing confident guy. Just wish I could find someone. These people don't seem to exist on dating sites. :(
