I just wish he would've used layman's terms more often in his lectures. I find it a bit easier to listen to Alan Watts because he doesn't use words like "mercurial" every other sentence....sometimes listening to terrence McKenna I have to stop and try and mentally digest wtf he just said..lol

Oh yeah...But I like his big words they actually make me laugh when he uses them all together, and you have to wonder "is he just making them up?" Then I think, who cares if he is b/c they are so great!

Mercurial, I have to still look that one up

Great word.

I feel like my brain gets bigger when I listen to TM lol I used to cut my bf's hair and only listen to him while I did it-he got some interesting cuts haha

I like Alan Watt(Cutting Through the Matrix with Alan Watt - Clearing the rubbish from the road to reality), but haven't listened to Alan Watts much. Isn't he more into the Eastern Philosophies?

That's a great video very inspiring. I like his voice, too. I will have to listen to him more. The message is positive for sure.

Yes, absolutely...and Terence's voice is more like the Wee Folk in the forest. I always picture him that way, collecting various flora and fauna from the forest floor and taking them back in his basket to his tiny home inside the base of a big old growth tree, mumbling those big crazy words to him self and laughing all of the way :) r.i.p cool dude.

This probably won't make any sense since somewhere along my life I lost the ability to explain things, but it's frustrating (and interesting) how I can want to live and interact in a way that other people do. I know life is really about finding your own groove and enjoying it, but I'll read about someone else's life and it will feel so foreign to me. Like I can't even imagine it (literally) and the curiosity alone drives me crazy.

I bought a packet of jelly beans when I got groceries and then I put them in my room and forgot I had them. I just randomly found them and it was one of the the happiest moments of my life

It started snowing so I went for a run. The ground was covered in ice and my shoes have no grip. I kept almost falling over. It would make me laugh everytime. It was so much fun. It's a good thing I have good balance and quick reactions. I'm like some sort of cat ninja.

I had an odd dream about womb snakes.

Like legit snakes that lived in wombs and ate babies. It was this big concern in society and for some reason it never occurred people to check it out with a doctor before trying to conceive.

Ever wake up and you're just kind disappointed with your own mind? I mean, the science of it doesn't work out at all.

Edit: Huh, two dream posts in a row. What are the odds. :giggle:

I wonder if such a thing ever happened to a bank robber. It'd be like finding treasure.

Well, not that finding jelly beans isn't like finding treasure.

Huh, I was also going to talk about my dream this past night. I don't remember much from the beginning, but I was with other people and I was very comfortable talking to all of them and making jokes. I could always tell what those people were trying to do (even as one of them tried to trick my sister into signing something without reading, though it was nothing particularly harmful).
I wonder if that's who I really am without all the overthinking and anxiety dragging me down or if it's simply because those characters were created by me and thus I was much more likely to connect well with them. Either way, I had a very good time.

After a while I was also fighting some dude who was apparently my friend (more like a fight between friends, not a bar fight) and we became great friends after the fight. Again, that's a sort of relationship I don't have in real life.
Some of my friends met with us shortly after, and I was getting along with them better than in real life as well.

Apparently some guys had been robbing the place, which looking back now was a bit like a college campus. I had left my stuff in a locker and so we were all going to see if my stuff was still there. There were a lot of people on the streets, looking for their stuff in the middle of all the chaos left by that group of people.
We cross the road to get to my locker. One at a time, several cars come speeding down the street so we couldn't really cross it for a bit. That gave me time to see some dangerous people waiting in the place we were going, so after crossing the street we went to the left, going up the street.

It was a long street, with several intersections. I noticed there were groups of 5-6 people in each of the intersections, walking towards that main street. They were all dressed in costumes, every group had the same set of costumes. Basically, there was one guy sorta dressed like a vampire, but all black, then two other dressed as vampires but with a bit or red (specially the collar), and the others I don't remember. No make-up or fangs, just the clothes.

As we walked past one of those, I had car keys in my hand. I heard something about "taking the cake from them, and then they do what we want", so I figured they were going to steal my keys. As the guy in black went for it from behind, I was prepared so I got my hand up and he couldn't steal it. I turned around and said something to him, and then one of the other guys with red colours approached me with small thin metal sticks, round at the edges, in between his fingers. As he got closer to me, I saw those sticks had little needles coming out of them.

Somehow he got me down and my chest was exposed. He stuck those on my chest, but it didn't hurt much. Now they started looking a bit more like syringes and he was actually injecting something in me. He started talking, saying "these contain X milligrams of gasoline" and some other explanations I can't remember. As the liquid in the syringes went all the way down, I started feeling weird and woke up. I woke up feeling like I should learn how to fight and defend myself.

I don't know what it's called. I have that thing when stress gets so bad that your organs(intestines?) pump faster than normal and you have to go. I also get butterflies when it's really serious and I can't keep my mind away from what's bothering me...

That dream made it worse. It wasn't a nightmare. It was an amazing dream...
