People are "unfriending" me on SPW and on Facebook... I shouldn't care but it does affect me on some level because, well... duh, SA.

I must be really boring or self-centered or otherwise unlikable in some way. There's something that disinterests people or puts them off. I have too much to worry about as it is, I don't have the energy or knowledge (or ability?) to make myself more likable. Besides, I'm not "supposed" to care about what others think of me anyway, or be a certain way to please them.

I don't really know why either, to be honest with you. He handled so many crisis with grace. He gets a bad rap. I am sure there are some who can't see past his party, some who can't see past his color, and some who just plain don't want universal health care or gun control laws.
Maybe the one's who hate him are just louder than those who are satisfied. I mean, he got voted into office twice, the majority approved.
But no matter what Americans think of him, there is no excuse for the disrespect that is hurled his way. Disgraceful.

I'm doing this "R Programming" online class where we have to do a programming assignment. They only tell you what they want a certain function to do (for a total of 3 functions) and they'd show some results, and then you have to write the functions yourself. The problem is that most of it wasn't even taught in the video lectures, and like someone there said it's like "getting thrown in the deep end of the pool after a 5 minute lesson on how to swim". Anyway, that person created a simple practice exercise that taught you some things that were helpful for the assignment.

My head started hurting at some point. I'd spend a lot of time on the first function, trying things out and searching the web to try to figure out what was wrong or how to do certain things. I spent more time on the second one, and even more time on the third. But completing each of them gave me a nice sense of achievement, my effort and headache rewarded. After four or five hours of struggling with this assignment, I finally finished it, and it felt great. My head still hurts a bit though.

There was a Camp Quality convoy here, held every November. I love going to those because it's a happy, rich, charitable event and it's great for the kids. Basically it gets people out and they camp on the side of the road and wave to the trucks and bikes that drive by, honking their horns so loud that it sounds like a drone from far away. I'm sad I missed it today but I'll have to make up for it next year. :)

I blame uni studying for that! My final exam is tomorrow and I'm keen to have it over and done with. I hope I do well.

Also it's blowing a gale outside and our roof had better stay on, haha.

Just my random thoughts for the moment.... :)

One day rolls into another and you do the same things again and again and some people are happy and some are miserable and someday it all ends but until then you must get up and do it all day after day after day. And wait for that one day that everything will magically be better. Or try to make it better, but if you fail, then it's back to before and you see the endless painful days stretched out before you and you wonder...

Worried about my mama....she is in life threatening status. I gotta see her as soon as possible. I will never give up on her. I don't care how convicting those damn doctors are......
