Damnit.
My brother's car broke so he's been borrowing my bike to get to work. But I totally forgot to tell him I needed it myself to go to work today. I've been sick most of last week, so I really wanted to go today. But walking takes an hour and I hate the bus.
I should really stop letting people borrow my stuff. It almost exclusively ends up biting me in the ***.

English is fantastic. You go from 1 am to 9 am, 10 am, 11 am and suddenly 12 pm. And then from 12 pm to 1 pm. And then from 1 pm to 9 pm, 10 pm, 11 pm, 12 am. It makes no sense. If you used zeros instead of 12, it would make sense: 0 am, 1 am, 2 am, ..., 11 am, 0 pm, 1 pm, and so on. If you kept it 11 am - 12 am or 11 pm -12 pm, it would make sense as well. But you decided to go with the one option that doesn't make any sense.

Sudden feeling of "What am I doing with my life?". After getting a degree over a year ago, I only leave the house mostly to go to the gym or go to the supermarket. Sometimes I go out for lunch or dinner, but it's not very often. I went to a couple of job interviews but it didn't result in anything, and now that I have found which area I want to work in I don't feel like getting a job in a different area just to stay busy. I've been doing an online specialization on this area and I intend to do a master's next year, but I still feel like I'm not doing anything.
Or you just use the 24 hour clock ("military time"). :

That's what I normally use but when I'm writing or speaking in English I automatically use am/pm for some reason (English is not my first language by the way). Also since a lot of websites and forums and so on are American, deadlines are usually written with am/pm and the whole thing I talked about in the other post just confused me. Now that I wrote it down in the other post I should remember it for a long time though.

Still haven't heard from the company I applied for and had an interview with. They told me they'd answer in 15 days, but almost 20 business days have gone by and I still didn't get an answer.
Since I don't want a full time job in an area unrelated to what I'll be doing a master's on next year, I'll try to look for a part time job next week.
