Okay, I'm sure will think I am weird but I just had a mini panic attack over the dumbest thing. I have a "friend" on facebook who happens to be a celebrity. I had added him years ago before he was very well known. A couple months ago he announced he was dropping all fans off of his facebook because his account had gained so many followers he couldn't even add family or real friends, and asked everyone to follow his fan page. I commented that I totally understood and that I would do the same thing, no problem. Well, he never deleted me. I'm not sure why, but it's sort of an honor.
Here is where the anxiety attack comes in: now that there is hardly anyone on his page there is way more chance for actual interaction (he "liked" a comment I made on one of his posts) and for some reason it feels awkward because I feel like I'm a loser and I don't belong there
Low self esteem is such a spirit crusher. You'd think I would feel just about any emotion besides shame and embarrassment because I made the cut- and I am honored. Also, why such stress? Celebrities put their pants on one leg at a time like everyone else.
