Edit: About this personality test, am I the only one who feels like they answer half the questions quite randomly because they don't understand what it means or it depends too much on the context, like "I favor the surreal" or "I tend to prefer the specific to the general" or all these questions about being either cold or sentimental?

I think I might start spending as much time outside as possible during the weekends. My mum spends the weekends at home so there's no oxygen to breathe here, only smoke. I already told her a lot of stuff about how smoke harms other people even if she's fine, but she doesn't care. I have breathing issues but she doesn't care about that either, since she went to the doctor and everything was fine with her lungs. She's probably thinking "If it isn't harming me, it can't be harming others". She also believes the smoke is only in a 15cm radius from the cigarette and that it dissipates in a couple of seconds, becoming harmless afterwards. I already told her it spreads to the entire house and it takes 2.5 hours to go away, but she doesn't believe me. My sister was away for 6 months and when she came back she said she noticed that all of our clothes smell like tobacco. That's enough evidence for me, but apparently not for my mum.

I'm exhausted. But it's a good feeling, I earned it.
Just a few hours ago I was outside in shorts and sweating. Then that cold, windy front blew in and I had to put on pants, a second shirt, and my sweat jacket. Now it's supposed to freeze tonight.

:idontknow: You are probably onto something! But I still feel like mine is accurate, overall. The official one was pretty in-depth (you have to pay and send away for it... at least you used to...) that's probably why they rephrase the same questions 100 times! They made me do it in one of my college courses.

What does that have to do with listing shopping as a hobby? If you don't have money to buy necessities, that's one thing. But shopping simply to accrue more objects for your house/wardrobe/electronics collection, etc... I'm talking about mindless/superfluous consumerism.

I guess everyone will end up wanting to leave when it comes down to it. Maybe it doesn't matter what I say, they will just go. I don't know the reason, its just always been this way. I should be used to this by now.

It leaves me feeling like I did something wrong, especially when they leave without giving a reason, which is what normally happens in my case. I don't care if the reason they give would hurt my feelings, I just wish they could be honest with me and tell me the truth.

true. it's the uncertainty that really hurts. i know what you mean about getting a reason, even if it hurts. but people just choose to say nothing. i guess i'll never understand it. it's happened enough times to me to know it won't change. sorry you have to go through it too.

I'm getting hungry. Chicken noodle soup sounds good to me right now, I'll probably go make some. I have to go on the college campus that I'm taking online classes for to take a proctored exam tomorrow :sad:. Hopefully I'll do alright.
