Why am I so afraid of people? I mean they're just that, people. What does it matter what they think of me in their head?

Isn't it weird that people seem to see a lot of wrong in what you do, when you do absolutely nothing? :idontknow:

No!!
Thank you for all that you do for people here!
You can always take time away if you feel like it, but don't ever think that you're an annoyance.

!!!

No way, Mikey. Not a chance. You're one of the nicest, friendliest, and most supportive guys around. You're compassionate, you're generous with your time, and you always have a kind word for anyone in need. I honestly can't imagine how anyone could dislike you. :idontknow:

Mikey, we all love you here and don't know what the heck you are talking about! :)
Even so, you are bound to come across a few people in life who dislike you, for no good reason whatsoever. All you can do is keep being your lovely self, and let them sort out their own bitterness. Keep doing what you're doing, so long as it makes you happy.

I haven't really talked with you much, Mikey, but our damaged dopamine receptors often make us feel unwanted and empty. You can't really help it, so don't beat yourself up too bad. Just ride it out and maybe compensate with some caffeine or something. I sip coffee all through the day to keep my FDR's from pulling me down. I get in a rut pretty fast without some kind of pick-me-up.

FDR - funky dopamine receptors

Nah, keep on doing what you're doing. I mean, if you need a break than obviously you can take a break. But don't feel like you have to take a break because people are annoyed at you. You've never annoyed me.

Be yourself, MikeyC, you're doing fine

I'm fairly confident this is 'one of those' compulsive thoughts. If you feel like that, maybe you should take break. Not so much because you're actually annoying people, but more to make yourself more comfortable doing what you do.

Sometimes the daemons inside (however accurate or inaccurate) need to be humoured before you can slay them. This might be one of those cases.
I understand I'm a day late but thanks to all of you for these kind words. It means a lot.

Yes, it sure is, Planemo. It's quite an skill to make people angry and you haven't said or done anything, except exhibit anxious behaviour.

Thanks, but no one needs my issues.
You're not giving me your issues, rather I am just a mentor in helping you through them. I am still willing to listen if you're up for talking about them, but only if you're comfortable. You shouldn't have to deal with this alone if it's affecting you so severely. Nobody does.
