Go for it Mikey. Even if doesn't work, atleast you'll make a move. I hope it does work.
Thanks to both of you. 🙂

I've met quite a few people like this in a row. And all of them were more or less the same. It doesn't help that I find it impossible to find guys I'm actually attracted to, kind of makes me wonder if I'm just expecting too much.
There's nothing wrong with expectations in men. Don't settle for less. Maybe don't put too much pressure on finding Mr. Right, though - just meet guys and see how you go. Putting undue pressure on yourself, or on them, isn't going to work. If all the men you're meeting are full of themselves, then you know who you don't like!

Someone like you deserves a prince, anyway. Again, don't settle for anything less, my lovely friend. 🙂

I just saw Inside Llewyn Davis and wish I could watch it again for the first time.

I love the Coens.

The Coens are amazing. I haven't seen this movie yet, but it looks like it'd be right up my alley. Thanks for the recommendation!

I've been meaning to watch that and I think I will soon.
To me, a great movie never feels as great as that first time... Isn't that what they say about smack too?

I hope so, but further investigations now see that the site has been shut for 4-6 weeks due to "unforeseen circumstances." Aw. I'll have to wait a little while.

Someone from a dating site I went out with for a while contacted me on Facebook. Awkward. I broke up with him because I found his behavior kind of weird and all he wanted to do was go to bars. I really don't want to talk to him.

I hate that Facebook put the "seen at" thing in messages. Now I can't look at it and delete it without him knowing when I've seen it so he can bother me about it. Or maybe I can just delete it without reading it. Or maybe I can read it and then block him. :idontknow:

I don't know if anyone on here has ever had this, but it's really tasty. Boiled eggs mashed up with butter, salt, and pepper. My mom used to make eggs that way for me as a kid. I remember liking it at one point and then really hating it. I hated the chalky yolks.

I still can't eat the yolks if I'm just eating a whole boiled egg, but today I mashed them up again with the butter salt and pepper for the first time in years and it was delicious. Tastes pretty much like scrambled eggs.

There's a cute girl that works at the fruit shop in Shellharbour's main mall. I was served by her today and I'm taken by her smile, her eyes, and her friendliness. Even though she's getting paid to be nice, I can tell in her mannerisms that she's a happy person, not putting it on for her hourly pay.

Today I was trying to work myself up to telling her that I find her cute. I don't think I'm what she's looking for but I want to tell her. Maybe next time I buy some strawberries and pears I'll try to tell her. Pretty bold move, but one I feel I should take.

Oh, Mikey. :omg: Why don't you think you're what she's looking for? Has she given you some reason to believe so, or is that just your automatic assumption?

Quit undermining yourself!!!

You're an awesome guy. You're smart, kind, and friendly, you have a great sense of humor, and you're uncommonly wise for someone your age. You're also one of the best-looking dudes around. So what if you have a bright red exoskeleton and claws? Lots of girls like lobsters. Drench yourself in melted butter, and go tell her what's on your mind! Good luck!

So apparently there is an AI/program for Windows that imitates Jarvis from Iron Man. It uses windows speech recognition. There is plenty of stuff about it on Youtube it seems but quick Google search didn't give me anything.

Anyway, it seems really cool. And this is just another instance of me discovering something cool, needing knowledge/skills of programming, but not having much. So now along with learning scripting for Apophysis/Pascal, I now want to learn programming for this/whatever language it uses.

Oh I wish I hadn't have given on trying to learn programming back when I was a kid.

So much to learn... I've also been thinking of starting a journal on here. Partly to get some practice writing and sharing things on the internet in a blog sort of way.

That is pretty awkward. I went out on ONE date with this one guy from a dating site. I simply didn't get in contact with him again, and I think he was too shy to pursue me. A year later, he somehow finds me on Facebook, sends me a huge long message telling me the story of his life almost. I didn't know what to say so I never replied. Fast forward another year or two, I walk into my Physics 2 class, and he's sitting there in my class! Ack!!!!! I pretended not to see him for about two weeks, then I just couldn't stand the awkwardness and dropped the class. I kind of regret letting it get to me like that, but honestly if it happened again I don't know how I would react!

Haha! Apparently it was a fire and the building is being repaired. Although your one is more hilarious!

Showing him that you've seen his message must make it worse. I would just ignore it, honestly. If you've got nothing left for him, don't respond. If you'd be more comfortable, you can block him so he can't contact you anymore. He'll know you have moved on so then he can, too.

It's my default setting, sorry, haha. I've had bad luck with women and I'm sure it's all my doing, so I just assume that all the time these days.

Thanks, though. I'll try to say something next time I see her at the fruit shop. Dr. Zoidberg is on the case!

Oh wow, that would be really awkward! I would have dropped the class too, or at went to it at another time during the day/week if possible.

We have one channel that shows it. Just saw the half time show. I may not watch all of the second half but I enjoy the spectacle. 🙂
