I want a do-over for my entire life. I feel so embarrassingly left behind by other people my age. I should have way more life experience than I do right now and every day I'm just stagnating and continuing to be a coward. :kickingmyself:

There's no rule saying you need achievements by certain ages. Start now. :) You will get there.

A fellow member on here recommended I draw, so I did a quick sketch.

Its very cute, its similar to my male rabbit, but he has a lot more black.

Thank you! Mines is a girl. Maybe they can be buddies. :p

Thought: I went jnto a Dunkin Donuts to do some reflecting. I get asked if i believe in jesus christ. Straight ignored the person. He was a young fellow.. not sure if it was going to turn into a pickup line
or a philosophical discussion. Either way, plenty of ppl must think i'm a b*tch for ignoring them. Ah well..

I just napped for what was supposed to be one hour, which turned into two. I'm exhausted from this cold I have. Luckily today is Friday and I get to sleep in tonight!

I wish people wouldn't try to be clever and appear knowledgeable when they're clearly not... I just find it embarrassing, really I do...

I was just reading a discussion on a FB group I'm part of which was concerned with certain archaeological finds which are anomalous, and which would drastically alter our perception of pre-history if they are genuine... A subject, which I personally find fascinating... But as usual, you have the one arrogant person who is unwilling to challenge the paradigm even hypothetically... (Which I believe is important to do - challenge everything!) But, unfortunately, they made a fatal error... They claimed that the Cambrian explosion occurred after the age of the dinosaurs and was the beginning of mammalian forms in the fossil record... *Sigh*

If my evolutionary history is correct, the Cambrian period began life with bones, and thus fossils. That's why the Pre-Cambrian period is harder to gauge because of the lack of fossils. What kind of anomalous archaeological finds is this group talking about? Are there any or is it mostly just speculation?

Ummm... did a mod mess with my signature or something? Or maybe it's the browser I'm using (Opera on a Mac)... The first quote is missing letters. What in the world.

Edit: went in to "Edit signature" and the quote is fine. Must be my browser. Very weird.

They were talking about anomalous fossils from a much later period - nothing whatsoever to do with the Cambrian - the particular person seemed to not understand at all what the "Cambrian explosion" was (despite trying to appear more intelligent and knowledgeable than the other members), hence my post. There are anomalous finds, which are most certainly not speculative - however, how they're interpreted is speculation, as with all things, really...

I'd rather not get into specifics, however, as I've seen the way some people react to the mere idea, and I'd rather not spark a debate... Especially as some of the things are quite important if the finds are genuine and would definitely upset some people who do not have open minds... Not yourself, of course, nor anyone in particular - just people in general.

If you are interested in looking into anomalous artifacts, a simple search should reveal the general idea - though, there's usually a lot of rubbish to trawl through to get the truth, thanks to people with a bias to support... *Rolls eyes*
