Well... she's ashamed. And she's a member of this forum (won't say the name), but she never goes on. I use this place to talk to people and vent - I don't have anyone else at the moment except for my siblings. She can't expect me to not talk about it.

Why do you associate with her if you hate addicts? The situation is obviously bothering you a lot, I think it's not fair for you to continue talking to this person.

If she's willing to get help, then good. But if she's not even trying, there's really nothing you can do, and you should move on.

Oh, I know. I would if I could. One problem - she's my mother.

I live with her. I'm going to get out ASAP. But I'm stuck here for now.

Sorry, should have said so - I realized that sounded very confusing, haha.

Ah, damn. Well, that sounds difficult :/

Moving out as soon as possible is a good idea.

I'm so guilty.

^ As am I.

You guys, yesterday was soooooo scary. It was snowing and then the wind was really, really blowing. The power went out at 3pm. It came back on a couple hours later, but the cable didn't. I was without cable. And internet. All night. Until now. :crying: I was forced to start reading... The Hobbit.:eek:

Disclaimer: I was actually perfectly fine with no TV. I did really miss the Internet, though. And I'm enjoying The Hobbit. Who knew?!

lol soscared... agreed. but sometimes during the week, after being on the run for 11 hours, a microwave lasagna will do.

I’m a bit critical of people who have use of a kitchen but choose to eat microwave meals instead.

I for one would love a proper kitchen. Cooking and baking is much fun.. Though, I live in a apartment and make due with one of those tiny corridor type kitchens that become like the sun as soon as the stove is lit.

Also a weak oven. Ggrrrr...

^ I tried reading The Hobbit a couple years ago. I didn't like it. I didn't even finish it either. I got halfway through the book before I became so bored I couldn't bother finishing it. I have the LOTR trilogy too, that I picked up at a thrift store around the same time, and I still haven't read it yet.

^ LOL
My brother is exactly one of those people. I never hold back from telling him that he should pick up a pan once in a while and use the stove.

My dad bought me the LOTR trilogy years ago and I haven't read them. He gives me grief all the time. But I am enjoying it so far. I was afraid that with all the strange names and places and creatures, I would get confused, but I haven't so far.

As for microwaved meals, I eat them a couple times a week. I had some bad experiences cooking while growing up and have stayed away from it, but I've made it a goal to start up again.
