Thanks everybody! I decided to post the picture (nerve wracking it was too) because of long standing issues about my appearance, this is all down to High School bullying. Thanks.

Bullying sure has a lastin' affect on ye. :thumbdown: Still, once ye accept how ye look withoot the urge to be self-loathing and just own it, ye feel better about yerself.

For avatar = Quick links (yellow bar on top of the web) - User control panel - Edit avatar

For posting = Go advanced options (while writting) - select the "clip" icon - and select the file from the folder where you image is - upload

Maybe there's a faster way but that would work, Nice to meet you btw!

I like coming back to this thread every so often. I like seeing all of your faces. Such a good looking bunch you all are.

I love how much I have grown over the last couple years from my fear of having my picture taken. By no means do I love it, but I no longer feel nauseated or panic-stricken when I see a camera or when I try to take a photo of myself. I don't know how exactly I got over this fear other than just picking a few features about me that I know I like or should like, and trying to give myself at least one compliment every time I look in the mirror. Also becoming much healthier, physically and mentally, has helped too. I still have bad days, and things I don't like about myself, but I've come so far and I'm damn proud of that!

Well done in overcoming yer fear and becoming more at ease with having yer picture taken, Phoenixx. :applause: :thumbup: Being complimentary toward yerself is definitely the best way to overcoming body image issues.

Feelin' a bit braver than usual the day... Here's a recent photo of me. This wus taken back in January, not long after ah wus discharged from ma local hospital after extensive orthopedic surgery. Oh, and please forgive the slightly out of it look on ma face - blame that on the morphine that wus still in ma system at the time of taking this photo.
