It's uncouth if a woman discusses it. I've heard a group of males discuss sex and such but I can't recall that coming from women. Or maybe it's been a case of "wrong place, wrong time" all the time? Ha. :)

Yeah, I'll say wrong place, wrong time. You should listen to my family talk about sex; they're talking to me about me having sex and masturbating! I've blushed far too many times in front of them about it::eek::! They're talking to me in detail about what I should be doing during sex and how long I last! And all of this is coming from my aunts and my mother! So, yes, as coyote said, women can be just as horny, if not more so, than men.

Hey, don't blame me. "Women are the fairer sex" and all of that jazz. It's sad, yes, but I think pornstars are out there to prove that women can talk about sex and fulfill their sexual fantasies without any negative backlash. Just because you're prim and proper doesn't mean you don't get horny sometimes.

Yeah, I'd be blushing furiously at that, too!

Porn is male fantasy and should never be taken literally.

And female fantasy. Some fantasies of men are the fantasies of women as well. And yes, it's not to be taken literally. But, that doesn't stop some people.
Female fantasy? Maybe to some, but not to most. I think it's definitely more directed to a male audience.

But anyway. This is way, way off-topic. Sorry everyone. ::(:

I have to say, I do often hear girls talking about sex, almost as often as guys, but talk of masturbation is definitely more a guy thing, at least when both guys and girls are around. "Jerking off" is probably one of the most often said phrases amongst my guy friends.

Fine, I'll be more assertive from now on! >:]

Aww...no, Mikey, don't take it the wrong way!

Oh I see what you're saying, a too nice BF is like not having one at all, under the sheets *nudge nudge* ;);)

Well, he is nice...so I have that.

No! Not pornstars. No, no, no, feminists!!! LOL...
Porn is created for the male viewer. It is not representative of how women are. Women are not pornstars and we are not striving to be ::p:

I've learnt from this site that everyone suffers from anxiety in their own individual way, no one has it easier than anyone else.

For me the worst kind of rejection has always been silent. It has nothing to do with developing romantic relationships, it is at the fundamental level of wanting to fit into the word of people. I'm fine with people being neutral towards me, it is the unasked bullying, the mass refusal of unasked love that has hurt me, and contributed to my anxiety. When anyone likes me, or shows me kindness I get really nervous, because I am scared they will notice my anxiety and get angry, and I will force them away.

Yeah, but if it's one thing porn does, it's show women enjoying sex. Isn't that encouraging?
But just like reality TV, a lot of it is for the camera. I'm almost certain that less than 0.1% of the female population enjoy being slapped in the face during sex.

Hehe. ;)

That's the point I was trying to make earlier. Thanks for putting it in better words than I can. :)

I agree. I watch it...but a lot of it does make me cringe. Notice how there rarely is any kissing involved? I like kissing...

y'know, porn didn't used to be like that

it's gotten really degrading in recent years

it used to be a thing of beauty

You think they're actually enjoying it???

Aletheia is probably remembering those days
