Intelligence or good looks???

Good looks alone has never given anyone the world on a silver plate, as evidenced by the fact that many people on this board are quite good looking (some don't even know it themselves).

I was once offered the world on a silver plate. I declined, as silver has a taste that I'm not particularly fond of.

Had that plate been golden, however, I'd probably still have indigestion.

;)

It ain't so bad

Good Looks. Either that or the intelligence to make a lot of money so I can get a bunch of plastic surgery. Otherwise, looks for sure.

Looks. There's only so much plastic surgery can do if you're ugly, and I hate feeling so ugly, it takes away ALL my confidence in everything. ::(:

I beg to differ. Dishes in gold are usually to flashy for my taste. :)

Good looks, maybe because I'm already smart and don't see how it has helped me much while seeing good looking people nearly always getting the benefit of the doubt

I'm good-looking but not very smart. I don't know if I'd rather be the other way around. Probably not.

Gold may be flashy, or even too flashy, but at least it doesn't stink and taste bad like silver does.

More on topic, I'd still settle for a full head of hair. Or maybe a magic lamp with an attractive, intelligent, and patient female genie whom I could never touch, but spend time with on a regular basis. Just so she didn't have blue skin and sound like Robin Williams. I can accept a lot, but that would drive me nucking futs.

A gal with the intel of Stephen Hawking. Otherwise your dating Brian Griffins old girlfriend. That kinda dumbness would make my teeth cringe.
(Yeah family guy reference, random and silly, I know.)

Heh! That's like that time I made a completely random FG reference....

[cut to scene of me making an amusing but completely unrelated FG reference]

i hate these kinds of questions... i don't really care either way, if i were one way or the other, there's nothing you can really do about it but live with it, ha

These questions suck. I need details before I make any decision! :p If I was good looking, how dumb would I be? Would I have any common sense at all?

I think I'd choose intelligence. Everyone has respect for Stephen Hawking and I think that's what I'd like more than anything. Nobody has any reason to respect someone for their good looks alone, which is sort of unfair if you think about it...If two people are naturally blessed with one, intelligence and the other, beauty then neither of them really earned what they have. I don't know if Brad Pitt is smart...But, I do know that by using his looks and acting skills he's able to give back to society, which is the main thing.

I have no idea where I'm going with this. ::p:

Rofl....

Yeah, it's hard to give a good answer when a good question isn't given huh?

I would prefer good looks too.... it seems looks make you happier than intelligence.... intelligence only makes you depressed because you can examine how bad things really are!

Good points.
Although you could say that "good" looks only make you more happy if you have confidence/access to people to go with it haha.
I wouldn't want to be great looking and not be able to think for myself, and just be like every other guy. However I also don't see what's so special about Brad Pitt either anyway. I know I'm looking from a guys perspective, but I'd probably choose my own looks and personality over his. Infact even with things I might not like about myself I don't think i'd choose to be someone else instead.

If Stephen Hawking had the looks of Brad Pitt, would he still have proposed the four laws of black hole mechanics?

If Brad Pitt had the intelligence of Stephen Hawking, would he still have proposed to Angelina Jolie?
