How are you feeling?

Great for now.

So I just got off the phone with the guy I mentioned earlier, and he told me that I'm not going to have to do one of those awkward job interviews. Instead, I'm going to try it hands on with him for the first time, and afterward he'll tell me whether I've got the job.

I'll have to meet him at the paper depot at 6o clock tomorrow. Luckily, the depot is exactly 30 seconds from where I live. I could throw a sock at it from my window if I wanted to. x3 It's early, but at least I'll be done by 7o clock.

So yeah, wish me luck tomorrow. :3

I am feeling really good!

Yesterday, we had a newly-hired employee/manager mixer, which was very stressful for me, but here's the thing:

When I first got there, I was the first to arrive, and so I took a seat at one of the tables. Everyone who showed up afterwards didn't sit down, but rather stood around near the entrance and they were all talking.

I contemplated getting up and joining in, but then out of the blue a girl walks up to me and we talk for a bit, and then she mentions to be that she's a bit of an agoraphobe (when I asked her how she was feeling about this event). I was like...whoa! that makes two of us!

Anyways, later on, I actually managed to find a group of people to talk with and it went really, really well. (mind you, I wasn't talking to the group all the time, but rather to one person at a time, only occasionally talking to the group).

Today, we (all new hires) had to give a presentation in front of said managers and I just nailed it! It wasn't the best presentation, but everything, from the introduction to the questions went so smooth. My voice was perfectly attuned, I looked good, and I think I left a good impression. I am proud of myself :)

ugh. i just called my mom to get information about a potential job opening at her company. she starts lecturing me because i am unemployed and that they want me to move out of the house. WELL NO ****, DON'T LECTURE ME. THAT IS WHY I CALLED IN THE FIRST PLACE: TO GET INFORMATION TO CONTACT ANOTHER COMPANY TO TRY TO GET A JOB. it's not like i want to be living at home but i can't just magically be hired.

I'm so nervous.. :C

I'm just going to skip sleep tonight, I can't be in my morning daze on my first day. I need to be up in 5 hours anyway.

ing screwed it up. I can't even walk a darned paper route for Christ sake.

I feel so incompetent right now.

I kept knocking over my bike, miss reading my address list, dropping stuff, I took nearly half an hour to do 8 houses. Just the basic incompetent stuff.. There wasn't a single thing that went right today.

The guy that walked with me advised me to do something simpler, like stand behind a register, or flip burgers at McDonalds. He was about it, but still.
