Seriously, though. If I were looking for women on the internet, my one-stop-shopping would probably be done at backpage.com (escorts) or something similar. Or one of them mail order bride .com places. I'd probably go for an Eastern European girl, like really smart and in the 18-21 age range It would depend on what I was seeking at the time i.e. a quick fling or a long term leading to marriage.

Yep. Offhand I can think of 3 couples who met here and then got married. No doubt there are more. None divorced that I've heard of. You can meet someone pretty much anywhere--but I'm also pretty sure that setting out to meet someone here will likely end in disaster. And certainly the vast majority of male/female (or whatever) interactions here don't end in anything like romance.

This kind of stuff seem kind of hard to show online. anther reason why I don`t think it possible to meet someone online. You have to be really smart with words to make that work. plus, I agree long distance is a major problem.

Well, I am a girl (hence the Courtney27S...) and I don't think it would be odd if a relationship did start from this site. I mean, I personally find guys with issues a lot more attractive than those who are just confident and stable all the time. The fact that a guy is thinking on the same level as me and feeling things (whether their positive or negative emotions) intensely enough to express them on a site like this is beautiful, and he seems more real and relatable to me. It may seem odd, but I personally would like a relationship where we are both f***ed up to some degree. That way, the passion, and everything else, is on a much deeper and honest level...and I'm only eighteen.

lol ... I just keep thinking back when computers first came out when the biggest sales pitch was ... ( find a date in the comfort of your own home. ) making everyone feel as if it was done in the push of a button. Then everyone run to computers thinking they could kiss bars and clubs goodbye forever. As for me when I first came to this site I came because of my socialphobia problems . I had nothing I wanted but answers to why. Making friends on hear wasn`t really on my mind until my loneyness started getting hard for me. This is a website where everyone can voice there own opinion and plus they have a friend list and chatBox and chat just like a social network does. But the catch is we are people who are shy and don`t like talk to people. I agree we can`t make friend base on our problems. But we still can base our friendship on our favorite t.v show, our favorite music and our hobby for we still have the freedom to talk about anything. We just have to be strong enough to reach out.
