So guess what;

I go downstairs to check the mailbox (because I live in a apartment building). Get my mail, Skyrim is in it. Happy. Go upstairs.. No keys. F***.

So now I'm there in the staircase, in my T-shirt and slippers, no heating, winter. Had to wait 3 and half hours for someone to come home. Got in just a few minutes ago. >:I

I re-read the game manual about a million times.

Bummer. At least you are well read on the game now. ;)

It touches me deeply when I see people on this forum who look past their own needs and reach out to those who are suffering really badly... It makes me feel happy.
Absolutely. Many great people here.

I have to apply for a position at work. I hate this, I hate having to sell myself as I have such a low opinion of my abilities. I hate the waste of time it takes to do the resume, application, cover letter and crap. I hate the prospect of a panel interview, of wondering what to wear, of wearing it
I understand what you mean. So much effort for a small percentage chance of the end result. I hope it goes well for you, though. :)

Also, I understand completely about the low opinion of yourself, so it's time to go into actress mode for 20 minutes. :) (Easier said than done, I know.)

Just try to "act" confident. I have never been able to figure out how to do that bit of advice!? job interviews are still my greatest fear. I hope it turns out ok for you.:)

Hope the joy of playing it erases the horrible time you had stuck in the cold puma.::(:
I locked myself out of my apartment once the first year I lived on my own. I then developed an obsession with having so many door keys made/around so that I would never have to go through that again.::p:

I messed up on these portraits. :( I accidentally took them both on the same sheet of film, creating a double-exposure. NOT what I wanted. Hopefully my professor will be able to give me some kind of extension or something.

not actually Fiona Apple
Are you mocking me or were you actually duped as well? I just want to know if I should be outraged or feel sympathy for you. ;)

Okay, so maaaaybe I knew it wasn't exactly a basketball game. I think my game is more fitting for the name then the actual game though, it doesn't even make sense! Skyrim, what is that!:rolleyes:

luckily, the prints turned out pretty cool, and the critique was mostly positive

(i didn't let on that it was unintentional)

forget your perfect offering

^Isn't a lot of art being able to make the most of your mistakes?

a crack a crack in everything

often, the hardest part is to give up your own vision of how things should turn out and have the confidence to simply let them happen

I'm not super religious or anything, but sometimes I find myself praying or just talking to God. Lately I've been finding that I ask the question, "Why have you allowed me to turn out this way?" a lot.

I just randomly remembered a time when I was 8 years old, when my parents were in the process of getting divorced. My mom once said to me and my siblings "your dad and I fight because you kids lie."

What a terrible thing to say to a kid.
