So I have been reading forums for years now. I have tried many things that never seem to work. I am 40 and have been sweating since I was 11. The older I get the worse it seems to get. I am a firm believer that most health problems can be cured. Its just a matter if figuring out what is causing the problem in the fist place. I had thyroid... by Beachbaby

I just ordered the Idromed PC machine, and expecting it delivered any day now :-) . I am, however, concerned about the hardness of my water. From what I know, my area tends to have very soft water (south shore, long Island, NY). I have read that adding baking soda will tend to increase the hardness of the water. I've also heard that it increases... by annafi

Hi there, Just wondering about the mental toll Hyperhidrosis gives to other long-term, 'chronic' sufferers and how it affects your day-to-day activities and general life. Here's my story: I've had HH all over since age 12 (****rty) that started with my right underarm dripping constantly and then the left catching up a month later but not... by nicsa

I'm sorry and I know this may sound rude or whatever, but I wrote a big thread on here about a week ago and it ended up not being accepted by the moderators even though it was totally related to hiperhydrosis and all its issues (I was talking about the methods of the ETS procedure). Is it too much to ask for an inbox/private message explaining... by tiago1995

I was a member on this site ten or so years ago under a different username which expired due to lack of use. I only made 1 pen pal on here, also with HH, but we lost contact many years ago. I'm looking to meet other sufferers in the UK and some to meet up with near where I live in South Wales. IT'd be great to make new friends as either online... by nicsa

I've got driclor as a liquid and odaban spray - I believe they're very similar chemically. They work great on my armpits - they're no longer a problem - but my other problem areas are face/head. I've seen recommendations to use these products on your scalp but I don't know how to apply it with hair in the way. Especially since you are supposed... by IdRatherNotSay

Hello everyone, I suffer from mild hyperhidrosis and have tried everything from Drysol,to Avert (glycopyrrolate) and botox. The avert worked fine 2mg every morning however the side effects weren't worth it for me. Everything else pretty much worked for a short while and than sweating again. My family doctor recommended this procedure which... by steve0523

I've been affected by excessive sweating for a few years now, but I don't know exactly when it started. It's my armpits that sweat really badly, although when I'm hot my face also gets quite sweaty. Even when relaxing in a cool environment I get sweat patches under my arms and I choose all my clothes based on how well sweat patches will show up on... by Gaia

Hi guys! I've been doing iontophoresis for about 20 days and its been working really well. Today, however, when I woke up, I started sweating... I dont know why. Also, I felt vibrations in my right arm. There are still coming and it is really scaring me. Does anyone have any advice? Thanks by chubbs

Anyone tried Piracetam & Choline bitartrate for anxiety and sweating issues? Are these safe or ok to use? I've seen posts claiming reduced/cured sweating by reducing anxiety. I'm cured! Has anyone tried odaban for their hands? I originally didn't want to use products with aluminum, but with the weather getting so hot, I desperate for anything. It got really good reviews for armpit sweat, but there were only 2 reviews for hand sweating. The reviews were good for hand sweat, but only 2 reviews doesn't mean that it will work. by jay77

I am considering purchasing this machine. I don't know whether to get direct current or pulsatile. I have read that the pulsatile is much more comfortable, but is there a difference in the effect? I've also read that some people found PS not working and they started doing direct and it worked. Is there a toggle between direct and pulsatile for... by annafi

Hi all, Hoping some of you might be interested in answering questions on an (anonymous!) hyperhidrosis-related survey I've developed. As a lifelong HH sufferer myself, I'm trying to gather information and experiences from others to help raise awareness and build resources for the HH community. Your input would be greatly appreciated. ... by ClammyBook

I found a new interesting iontophoresis from Czech Republic. It's called Antipe Iontophoresis. It comes with various colors. Here's the link. Antipe Digital Iontophoresis - Antipe I'm not sure whether it's a pulsed or direct current. But it seem it's the pulsed one since they can be applied on underarm. For the price, here's the ebay... by hh_sucks

Hi, I am new to the forum. I was looking to purchase a machine and I am in the US. Anyone know a credible source I can buy the iontophoresis machine from, without a prescription? Also, any suggestions? My hands can get dripping wet at times, and I do not wish to go into the invasive ETS procedure. I hear botox is very limited as well. I am pretty... by annafi

Hey everyone. I'm new here and would like to share my story since I personally haven't met any other hyperhidrosis suffers. I've had hyperhidrosis my whole life. Was so sick of it that I wanted a cure fast. When I was 14 I got ets surgery. my parents being immigrants to Canada just thought it would stop the sweating but the side effects were... by stacker
