Hey everyone. I have been using an iontophoresis unit successfully for years in Florida. I recently moved to North Carolina and all of a sudden, the iontophoresis stopped working. In Florida, I would use plain tap water and it worked very well because the water there is very hard. I would only have to do 1 or 2 maintenance sessions (30 minutes) a... by crimsonstar

I thought I would start a thread on potential future treatments. I have always been a positive person in life and I think looking towards the future helps with that. Sometimes my hands get dry after a while when I have my gloves on. They just feel so dry that I actually want to take my gloves of, but as soon as I take them of, they start... by Fruit

I've been using the RA Fischer machine as instructed. After 4 treatments, I've noticed very small blisters on the back of my fingers. Is this something I should be concerned about? Should I continue treatment as instructed? The blisters are small but my fingers do seem red and swollen at those points. Thanks! by chubbs

Hi there, I'm new to the forum. Has anyone been to successfully treat hyperhidrosis on the back and chest? I've been dealing with it for a couple years now and I can't take it anymore. Oxybutynin didn't work and neither did some other prescription pill I took a couple months ago. by citysleeps5

Hi guys, I'm just wondering how everyone is. Do you all struggle with tasks that non-HH sufferers usually thrive on? I am a masters student and my whole lab go out for lunch once a week and sometimes go out to the cinema etc. but I never go due to fear of breaking out in sweat from walking to the restaurant or cinema -- please tell me I'm... by TLB

Had anyone used a transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) or electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) machine as an underarm iontophoresis machine. Traditionally, these machines are mainly used to rehab muscles and prevent atrophy of muscles when a person is injured and unable to exercise. Take a look at some of these: EMS machine -... by gg1101

In my opinion, I have avoidant personality -- although I have been diagnosed with just about everything. But the only diagnosis that makes much sense is my self-diagnosis of avoidant personality. Now, I am sick and tired of all the CBT, ACT, psychoanalysis, hypnotherapy, human givens, narrative therapy, meditation, SNRIs, MAOIs, SSRIs,... by Earthcircle

Hi everyone! I need advice on how to deal with my hyperhidrosis. My hands sweat a lot which is terrible. Next week I will have to shake hands with a lot of people on my new job. I was thinking about wearing gloves. But I'm not sure if that is the best thing I could do. I hope to read about how you would deal with this. Thanks in... by Fruit

Hey guys, long-time hyperhidrosis sufferer here. I will keep this short and straight to the point. I have been off glyco for about 6 months now, and I stopped taking it because it caused me to have "brain fog". My mental state was clouded, and I didn't seem to see things as clearly both physically and comprehensively. I was worried that the glyco... by NickM
