How are you feeling?

I wonder this too. On average, the brain uses around 20% of overall energy. So under stress energy use would obviously be higher. Freaking explains a lot towards myself with my anxiety. 🙄😔
I'm going to try to tone my worrying way, way down. I really mean that. This time, doing so just... feels right. My worrying is getting out of hand. I used to enjoy life to some degree. These days, it's a rare occasion.

Today I experienced 3 hours of near-panic over future improbabilities. Then I had some sort of energy crash after. You might call that a wake-up call.

I need to relax. I see how serious the problem has become, so now I can take steps against it. I need to think of how much more productive I can be without so much worry in my life. I need to think of how much more happiness might be let in without it.

Gotta live presently, as they say.

Really pissed off. 😠 Never got the call from my internet service provider today — I had to phone them! Then they had the bucking nerve to offer me £10 bucks as way of say sorry for the inconvenience. 🤬 off! Lazy c__*$!

..if I love my mom, I would do the dishes and not be so unmotivated due to my medication. I want to be productive and I have to figure out the best thing for me now

In anticipation of the warmer weather, I decided to plug my AC in and give it a test.

Nope.

The control panel lit-up like a Christmas tree and started beeping like R2-D2. I looked on YouTube to see if other people had this problem and apparently there's no quick fix for it. I was hoping there was some kind of way to reset it. Everyone online said the same two things: If you've had it less than one year, the warranty will cover it, if not ( and this would be me ) you're SOL.

Hoping it was just a control panel problem, I unplugged it, unscrewed the front panel, opened the circuit box or whatever and tried to hardwire it so I could just use the reset button on the plug to turn it on and off. No-go. I bypassed the panel and spliced what I thought were the correct wires, but when I tried to power it on nothing happened.

Not being any kind of electrician, I decided to quit while I was ahead and go buy a new air conditioner instead of electrocuting myself.

Bracing myself to make another call to my ISP tomorrow, since they said to give 'em 48 hours. I'll try not to argue with whomever takes like I did last time, when they lied and said my complaint was only noted on Monday. When they'd, in fact, got my complaint 2 days earlier on the Saturday when I contacted them via their online chat service, which they kept a log off.

I'm still a wee bit pissed off that they've only reduced my next phone bill by a tenner due to the inconvenience of being unable to access my emails. I'd have expected more off than that; given it's been nearly 2 weeks since I was able access my emails. And the lassie who took my call - on Wednesday, I think it was? - said it appeared to be an issue at their end. Possibly a server issue.

I am... chuffed to bits! I can access my emails again! 😁

Just as I was getting ready to phone my ISP and complain at 10 o'clock this morning. I get a text from their nearest customer services HQ, which is in Newcastle - Why aye man! - saying they'll be phoning within 15, 20 minutes. And they did! Which I was expecting, because their customer services up in Glasgow weren't great - and that's as nicely as I can phrase that.

Anyway, the 2-step authorisation loop I was encountering on my previous sign-in attempts has been overidden. Yay! Well, it's still there, it just skips that bit when I sign now. They also adviced me that, if I have another login issue, just to change my password via my account settings. I've not to bother with doing it via the password rest.

Got to say, I was dreading the thought of having to set up a new email account as I use my current one for everything. Online shopping, music related newsletters, notification for here, my YouTube and Facebook, etc.

BEAT.

I worked outside all day, got some good sun, and now I'm so sleepy there's no room for anxiety.

Tiredness earned is sweet.
What were you working on outside?

I've had a running list of home improvement stuff going through my head all weekend I'd like to work on very soon. 🤔 Change out the old inside front door because it's ugly and the knob doesn't work, realign the outside door so it actually seals shut correctly, change the hallway cupboard hardware to something more rustic, patch the crack on the front patio and repaint, the list just keeps going on and on. 😅

Not going back to SAS anymore, the layout is not like here, it sucks! I will make a note of it at some point and then leave. The only place left that I feel like coming to is here. Well I'm not exactly leaving there, I will still check my friend replies and that's it...

I tried SAS for a little while and didn't like it at all. Just not the same feeling as here. Glad to see you still around.

Really? When did you try SAS for a little while? recently?... Thank you
SAS has changed. I used to like the smileys, the layout, the friend convos in the profile, I like a friend over there who hasn't had the time to respond back to me

Not recently. It was probably about a year ago. I made a few posts but mostly, I just lurked. Didn't like the interactions and felt lost in the crowd.
