I made banana bread squares with browned butter frosting, and it looked lovely and tasted great. Unfortunately, a large portion of it was mushy and I didn't discover it until after I had put the frosting on  I checked it with a toothpick before I took it out and it came back clean, AND the bread sprung back lightly when I pushed on it. How did I miss that?

damn I really need help for something next week end, but if I bring someone to help me, it means I'm stuck with them all week-end. Sometimes I wish I was outgoing.

I find that when you add alot of bananas to baking; it just comes out super moist; so some sections seem mushy and uncooked but they're done-- just... super moist.
XD
Maybe that's what happened? I'm sure it's still edible.
Just eat those portions with ice cream!

I think the parts of this bread were actually undercooked, because they weren't just moist, they were literally falling apart in a heap once I cut it all up into squares. Maybe I put too many bananas in

With ice cream? Hmm, not a bad idea.

that look really yum. Icing sounds perfect too.

Maybe if you tried a stainless steel bread/loaf pan next time it might cook better? I see you have a glass one there.

No extreme ear pain on the flight back home this time. Tried several different things at once so I'm not sure what worked and what didn't do anything. Used this spray thing for my dust allergy, flew with a different company, and blew my nose with the nostrils closed when it was starting to hurt. I was afraid to do this before because at first doing this always hurts so I thought I shouldn't do it, but I read somewhere that it helps with this problem so I went through with it anyway, and I was ok.

Pretty proud of the turkey chili I made. I mean, all I did was follow the recipe I found online, but it was so good. And I thought we didn't have any tortilla chips, but I found some! :)

The older i get and the more i see, the more i question things. More specifically, the more i question my faith. It may be wrong, i may be wrong, but i can't help being human. Sometimes i think we're like ants and some giant little kid is sitting next to our ant hill with a magnifying glass just burning us off one at a time.

^ With 7 billion people on earth I can't see how someone can not feel like an ant in a huge ants nest.
In the timeline of this planet we are individually very insignificant to anyone or anything, except our immediate family....(Well unless you are a billionaire and can affect the lives of millions of people by your actions )

7 Billion and counting. No wonder no single person thinks they matter much.

My Mom is getting cooler in her old age. She told me she's reading the Game of Thrones series now-wow! Oh yeah and last year she said she loved The Big Lebowski after she saw it! Did someone steal my mother and replace her with someone else? That is on my list of things to do next we get together is White Russians and The Dude LoL life is so weird!

I have also had the strength of my faith come and go, but it never leaves me for long. I know there is more, but as I get older I believe what I have been taught less and less and trust my gut more and more.

I wanna do that but its just not at that point yet. These "dreamy" eyes have seen some stuff, man. Some stuff that begs questioning. Maybe its just not for me to understand?

It's scary to come in and see a user has been Banned because they were discovered to be a past banned one that has snuck back in under a different account/username. Especially when you know how dangerous and mean they were.

I am curious, but I won't pry.
