How are you feeling?

I feel tired. I couldn't sleep yesterday because I was so angry in bed that I got up and walked around looking at things. My mind wouldn't cooperate with me as it kept flashing me negative memories and angering me even more. I felt bad for wasting time while wandering around, but then saw some old clothes and decided to turn this night into a learning experience. I dared myself to wear a nightdress to sleep! I did it partly because I haven't worn a nightdress in 10+ years since I was a kid and just wanted to see how it felt like. Also, I wanted to get rid of the self consciousness during sleep. So I slipped it on and went to bed. In the morning, I woke up tired and the same negative memories came back, but felt proud of myself for being brave enough to wear the nightdress (which looks like a bath towel and makes me look really fat).

I just got a book, it's called "emotional freedom: Liberate yourself from ngative emotions and transform your life" by Judith Orloff, MD. I will let you know if it's any good.
Good job sleeping in the night dress. I'm sure you looked great, and I hope it felt great. You should buy yourself something amazing to sleep in, somthing special just for you.

I think it's towels that get folded in thirds ain't it? I always fold them in half, then half again, and again. Apparently that's not the 'right' way. As long as people TRY to fold stuff it should be ok

As long as they form a nice stackable square, and one of the soft sides faces forward, all is good in the hood.

I only do dish towels in thirds.

T-shirts, though.. those are an enigma. They always come out in different sized thin rectangles. One day I'll crack the secret.. one day.

But.. then they win. They've made it personal by not allowing me to fold them properly.

How do they win? You shove a piece of metal wire up its a$$ till it comes out its mouth and hang it up by a hook in a dark closet. More like humiliating midevil torture than winning when you look at it that way ;)

..I like the way you think.

feeling lucky...accidentally cut my wrist and missed the artery by less than a centimetre.

(I was cleaning paint off a palette knife, holding the paper towels with my left hand and pulling the palette knife through the paper towel with my right hand and the paint was really stuck on there so I pulled the knife through the towel and eh it slipped through the towel and sliced the inside of my wrist...those things are way sharper than they look)

facepalm .....my first painting is going great so far though

I did this with a broken casserole dish. I HATE the scar. I always wonder if people think I tried to kill myself, but I really am lucky. I basically stabbed myself between 2 big veins. Lucked out. Sounds like you are equally as lucky! Yay us! Did you need stitches? I had to have a couple.

Pretty relaxed.. a little sad but its my stupidity anyway.
Overall I am enjoying this moment.
I need to focus on 'happy' things.

Can't sleep. I've basically lost my sister. And all the plans we had are gone and meant nothing, apparently. Too painful to deal with. But I have to, somehow.

I know people often hurt you but I never thought it would be one of my sisters. We were always so close. Or at least I thought so... Now I don't know what to think.
