How is it possible to feel lonely in a world of over 6 billion people? well, i feel that way anyway.

No, Thistle Island in South Australia

Googling . . .

That looks like a really great place to settle. Lots of beach and green space, and relatively unpopulated, too, unless you count the sheep. Land seems reasonably priced, as well. Good luck with your fundraising.

Girl at the check cashing place looked at me pointedly and then said something to her coworker in Spanish and she looked at me too and said "Si" and looked away, and I felt mortified because although I didn't hear what they said (it was muffled behind the glass), I was pretty sure it was about me from the way they looked at me. The girl had given me a look like she couldn't figure out why I was there. I had no makeup on and I looked rough and was bundled up in a large winter coat, so I probably looked about 14. I wouldn't be surprised if they were commenting on how young I looked, although I can't say for sure. I just know I suddenly felt even more self-conscious and nervous.

Bitches. You don't talk about customers while they're right in front of you. At least wait until they leave. But why would they give me respect - I look like a teenager, after all, and teenagers aren't even people, are they? They're not "adults" so they must be patronized and disrespected (/sarcasm).

I know it won't get me down for too long. It just kind of set the tone for the rest of my stressful, depressing day. Looking forward to a glass of wine :/

I flew over it once. And I saw these cliffs and white sand beaches, and I wondered what island it was.

I'd be happy if all the people who hate me in this world, could raise the cash if they don't want to put up with me anymore. It's a win, win. :sarcastic:

Perhaps you would like to look old for your age? One day when I was doing work experience in a commercial kitchen one of the cooks said he thought I looked 21 at the time I wasn't even 16. For me looking older than my years is just another curse.
