How are you feeling?

Did you find your professor or any students in your class reacted to you in any way, or did no one seem to notice?
Most of the time no one acted like anything happened at all. I've never had a professor say anything. I would often blush after raising my hand and asking a question or saying something just because I realized I'd said something (which of course makes no rational sense)--but professors usually love it when someone asks any sort of decent questions because it helps them feel like they aren't just throwing words at people who don't care or aren't paying attention.

Outside of class situations, on a couple of occasions I've had a person quietly tell me afterwards 'no one cares that X', with X being whatever stupid reason I was blushing for.

I've also been in situations where some people thought it was the funniest thing in the world that I blushed, so they did anything they could think of to try to make me blush.

Both of those things make me really angry. I'm sorry people have done that to you. Not cool at all.

Whenever I took classes I would rarely speak up, so on the rare occasion when I did get up the nerve to speak, everyone would turn in their seats and look at me! Then of course I would start blushing and stuttering. And then of course the prof would say, "I'm sorry, what?" Then I'd have to try to repeat it all again! :eek:mg: I'm so glad I'm not in school anymore.

DUDE! I feel great! I just got home from the hospital. Long story short, my left hand got smashed at work and is broke in different places but I'm happy 'cause I still have all my fingers! Doc said I probably have permanent nerve damage in that hand but I'm psyched because I still have a hand! The parts I can feel really hurt but most of it's numb and cold feeling but it's all there!

I love this positive outlook! It's refreshing, i'm glad you still have your hand :)
Sorry about the accident though.

Hope it heals, JC, and you can still work and around the home.

Thanks, dude :) I'm going back in on the night shift again tonight. I was graced with two hands at birth so I can still work, just not as good. But thanks for the kind words, hope you are doing well

Geez. How did you hurt your hand?

I read that it was smashed at work, but what happened exactly?

There's a guy in my block of units, who, every morning comes out through the front door, and screams at the top of his lungs "**** you, aahhhhhgggg!" Several times. Wakes me with a start. I think I would like to live somewhere else.

I'm worn far too thin. The longest I can stay asleep lately is 2-4 hours before I'm up for at least 3, and then it's often time for the day to start.
