She's Come Undone, by Wally Lamb. It's really good. The part about her being an outcast during her first attempted year at college really hit home for me. Was a little difficult to read, in fact, because I've tried not to think about my first year at college in a long time.
Reading this book is what made me want to come back to the forum after all this time and say hi to everyone.

Yes. Good book. (Hi! Welcome back! I haven't been on here much lately, either.)

I'm still soldiering through The Casual Vacancy. I'm almost 100 pages in and I'm finally starting to get interested in the plot.

Currently reading The Inheritance of Loss, by Hiran Desai. It started out great, but it has kind of slowed down in the middle and I'm having a hard time getting through it. Hoping it will pick up again for the last couple hundred pages.

A really helpful book. I found it at a used book store. Probably not as much as a 'fun read' as the other books posted here, but I need it

I'm currently rereading my favorite book from my favorite series, it's called Blood Singer. I love it, I've read all of these books at least six times haha. And I cannot wait for the new book to come out! I've been keeping tabs on the author hoping to see when it will come out. I'm obsessed with these books, five down, one more to go! I hope she makes as many as possible.

I started this today, but I doubt I'm going to finish it. It's a bit hard to read, pretty tragic. Might set it aside for another time.

Blood Meridian by Cormac McCarthy. Violent book but I have a pretty strong stomach. I wonder if somebody will find a way to make it into a movie?
