I don't really hang around anyone, I typically stay in my room.. I'd say people would think I'm boring, but to be fair, I think people are all morons anyway; so why should I care if they think I'm boring?

Hie yer hence from me heath!
Yeah, of course people think I'm boring.

I mean, I'm a fairly introverted person, so tend to be perceived as "boring", anyway. I mean, I spend a majority of my time alone, in my room. Either browsing the internet, watching TV, listening to music, playing my acoustic guitar. Or, if I can concentrate long enough, reading. Which, to some, would be pretty boring, I guess.

I sometimes assume that people must find me boring to be around, but I can't speak for them. No one has every came up to me and said, "You're boring."

I am boring. I don't see that as necessarily a bad thing though. Most people; especially young people, are boring. A lot of youth culture revolves desperately trying to project the image of how exciting and spontaneous you are. So blind hedonism, instant gratification, and following whatever arbitrary trend is considered cool at the moment is called "having a life". There is hardly sense any of self, and your enitre identity is fragilely based upon how others or society perceive you. That's ****ing boring.

I don't see why people can't accept the banalities of existance. What, have humans only had "lives" in the 20th and 21st century where they can satisfy any boredom through some shallow consumerist binge? It is quite humbling to accept your existance isn't the centre of the world.

I haven’t been told since I have left high school but I’m sure many do a lot of my interests involve being at home even if I’m not feeling particularly anxious at the time. I prefer easy going people to surround me especially when I feel anxious or uncertain it would be boring if we were all the same.

That doesn't mean you are boring ...maybe you are just not comfortable enough around that person and can't find your words.

I agree, it can get better. I don't know if it means anything but I don't consider you boring at all.

My brother calls me boring all the time... then again, he can't sit still through a whole hour and a half movie-- he's standing, sitting, rolling around, doing situps and pushups, texting people, talking on the phone, eating, drinking... etc. You would think he has some severe ADHD.

He can't even sit still for 15 minutes while he eats dinner. He inhales his food *while* he's texting lord knows who about lord knows what---- are your friends really that interested in what you're eating that you have to be talking to them the whole time? Really? Sitting, standing, rolling around, running around the house, talking on the phone, laughing obnoxiously...

So... just because I have zero friends and can sit still for 12 hours straight; staring at the wall, I'm boring?
haha
I call it having discipline-- how about that?
Having the patience to sit still without feeling it necessary to be doing anything else.

What he does, I find confusing and unnecessary- definitely not exciting.
To each his own, I suppose.
At least I'll be sane and well off enough to survive if the world were to end or if a local CELL PHONE TOWER were to stop working.

A few days ago~

brother's friend: Wow... yeah, how do people even survive without their iphones?

me (overhearing): How did teenagers 10 years ago ever survive!? They must've gone insane and killed themselves; being unable to talk to their facebook friends at every second of every day!!!--- oh, no... wait... I'm a teenager from 10 years ago! I'm alive! It's a MIRACLE!!

I assume that people see me as boring. I have a lot of hobbies but i don't talk about them, i'm not into the ''norms'' of society like facebook, clubbing, getting drunk, partying, socializing. I don't know what most of the tv shows are even, i'm so cut off from the world.

I spend every single night alone even Friday and Saturday nights which ''normal'' people spend put with friends socializing. I feel old before me time in a way but at the same time i feel i am not a grown up man.

When i started college after school back in 1997 i had to share a working space with a girl, and she told me in my face ''you're no fun to be with!''..This cut me like a knife because i felt i had failed in being a good companion.
