How attractive would you consider yourself out of 10?

Forget what other people have said or how they have treated you.

Edit: I was just curious what people think of themselves. When I feel rejected or under watch, I feel skinny and ugly. But when I feel people like/love me, I feel almost attractive

And what time? Right now would probs be best

I think I'm about a 4 or a 5. Definitely average or just below average. I don't find myself that good looking at all whatsoever.

It's impossible to "Forget what other people have said or how they have treated you" and just look in the mirror because all I see when I look is my past and all of the people who've told me I'm ugly and stupid.

I had to put 1 as that was the lowest I could vote. I would've said 0 if I had the option. I am very unattractive and I'm very self conscious about how I look.

I'd say that I'm quite attractive (at least that's what I'm told), but usually, people who call me attractive also call me weird in the next sentence. Either that or they think I'm a cocky SOB.

It totally depends. I do get gushing compliments now and then. But I'm also constantly reminded of how young I look, so that combination kind of confuses me..... ("Do I look like a pretty 12-year-old?" ) And besides that, I have other insecurities like any one else, so I certainly don't walk around thinking I'm hot stuff. But overall, with a little makeup and hair done and all that, I think I'm pretty/cute.

Edit: I chose 8 for my score.... I'm terrible at making value judgments of any kind, though. So I really have no idea what that means.

A haircut I got yesterday has put me down to a 4. It's really knocked my confidence, before when a girl smiled at me I was really flattered, today when it happened I thought it was because she thought I looked funny ::

So wait, this is supposed to be based on how you feel regardless of what anyone else has said? I think that's impossible, really..... Whether people want to admit it or not, other people's opinions matter. We're social creatures and seek the approval of others, and we do base a lot of our self worth on others' opinions of us. Maybe not EVERYONE does, but I'd say most people do, whether they are aware of it or not.

That being said..... I would find it interesting to know how our own ratings compare to those of others. Say I rated myself a 10 (I didn't, just to make that clear :: ), and someone else rated me a 5. That would be an interesting insight into how I perceive myself vs. how others do. But then again, there are a lot of factors at play...

Okay, now I'm just rambling. Anyway.

I'm really not sure, my self image is very unstable. Sometimes I get lots of compliments, but deep inside I think people are just being polite, and when I look In the mirror sometimes I think I look ok at best, other times I don't like what I see.

Find it very hard to put a number too.

Yeah I think it's safe to assume that she only read the scale as being from 1 to 5. In that context, her answer makes much more sense.
