I have never been on meds and would never take them, because the side effects seem much much worse than any anxiety.
I do recommend Ashwagandha, though... I was taking it for about a month or so and it's the best I've felt. It's a natural herb with no negative side effects.
It's not for depression, just anxiety.
Just curious how many of us are Not taking drugs.
Care to share your reasons why?
pills and drougs were made to conspire against us, they're tools of the goverment, so they can control our minds by that way. :/

I think that there is often a stigma about taking medication eg. antidepressants. If somebody has depression, there's a chemical imbalance there and that's a real thing that needs treatment. Society can be a real bitch about it. Nobody judges a diabetic for taking insulin because that would be ridiculous. Nobody judges somebody with thyroid disease for taking eltroxin because that would be ridiculous. However society judges somebody with depression for taking antidepressants and it is ridiculous :idontknow:
I feel like there's a lot to be said for CBT but I do think that medication is necessary for a lot of people to feel ok and nobody should feel lesser for taking medication.
medication is a fraud and all it does is mask the problems, just like a doctor where they only take care of the symptoms but not the causes
Yes, thank you for saying this.
It was difficult for me to accept that I have to be on meds. A lot of it has to do with that stigma, and feeling like meds don't even work anyway. This time I am actually complying though and taking them every day, my exact dose, not extra like I used to. Still testing it of course. I want to give it a full try. I have nothing to lose.
