Ignace, i'm right there with you at the bottom. Kind of a short test though

Ego States, or mental programs, you have developed: 9
Ego States that haven't developed or are used ineffectively: 19
Your calculated Emotional Quotient or E.Q. is: 47

Don't quite know what that means, too tired to read the little captions

Answering the questions as best as I could, I got 120 for EQ. I doubt this number leads to anything insightful, if it means anything at all.

If you answer the first 7 questions with "rarely" and the the last 7 with "usually," the EQ output is 0. If you reverse that, the EQ output is "infinity."

Ego States that haven't developed or are used ineffectively: 14

I was expecting to get an EQ much lower than that but hey, I'm glad to see I've improved somewhat 😀

How can drinking a lot possibly be equated with reading fiction? Scored 78.

lol I agree - both can be escapism though!

(Statements 1-7) Ego States, or mental programs, you have developed: 18
(Statements 8-14) Ego States that haven't developed or are used ineffectively: 23
Your calculated Emotional Quotient or E.Q. is: 78

And that was me feeling good, he he!! 🙂

Has anyone taken a look at the name of the site though?
http://www.comedyfixtrafficschool.com/eq.html#showit Hm! 🙂

I don't think we can take it seriously lol! Some things there were quite funny and a person who'd totally agree to all that, hmm...??

76.

It just doesn't sound right to be so definite. Everyone, everything, every, all things, under no circumstances...

I guess I'm more of a grey type of person :😛:

Yeah, I think they were actually joking with it... If anyone would always feel great about everything etc, wouldn't that person be pretty psycho or something?
It's normal to feel a different range of emotions, I think that was sort of a comedy quiz lol...

Edit: Okay, I looked at that site and it's a comedy traffic school, for future drivers lol.. Run by what appears stand-up comedy people (and a clown?) ?? lol!! (One of whom might be a bigamist??)

So no, I don't think the test can be taken all that seriously!! lol!!

(first I thought it was a comedy school, lol!)

I don't like this test. This test is out to get me. Everyone is out to get me! 😮

I jest.

Interesting test, unsurprising results.

Unless you meant the EQ on my amp. Mr. Marshall is upstairs right now, but my little Fender practice amp is currently set like this:

Treble: 8
Mid: 8
Bass: 5

I'm afraid the Fender is more competent than me right now. 😉

Ego States, or mental programs, you have developed: 15
Ego States that haven't developed or are used ineffectively: 9
Your calculated Emotional Quotient or E.Q. is: 167

I'd like to do another test, there are certain questions that I didn't know how to answer because they weren't specific enough.
#37
79 - bit below average

If it was SocialIQ though, i'd definately be way below average

Just guessing about rel'ship between IQ/EQ/SQ. All SA people would almost certainly have low SQ. Would EQ always be higher than SQ?
My IQ = high, EQ = below average, SQ = prob "poor"

64 - makes sense, if a score of 200 defines an emotionally competent person with success in life 🙁
#39
Ego States, or mental programs, you have developed: 14 (0-35)

Ego States that haven't developed or are used ineffectively: 17 (0-35)

Your calculated Emotional Quotient or E.Q. is: 82 (0-250)

So I'm just below average
